So, who thinks that Tiny Toons should NEVER be remade?
Just for clarification, I loved the show as a child. Still own the Tiny Toon SNES and Gameboy games till today and Buster was sort of my first "cartoon hero" in a way. But I am also aware how the show was a huge product of the late 80s and very early 90s, considering how its humor was also depending on a lot of popculture references at the time.

And I think in the modern day environment, this show would just not be funny. What, we get an episode where some toon starts to make anime jokes? Plucky would try to become a youtube personality?

Honestly, I think instead of ever rebooting it, people should look for alternatives to it. The more I think about it e.g. I would say Amazing World of Gumball is sort of a spiritual succesor to TT.

I never really watched Tiny Toons beyond like 10-15 shorts so I'm sure I missed every single Babs+Buster episode or I didn't care for tiny moments like I don't do now because they never lead anywhere interesting. They're more boring than the hatefuck pair you see in movies.

However I am a sucker for the wholesome cute pair who go along well pair which I barely see enough of properly. I mean you have Cyclops/Jean levels of boring, you have friendship boring and then you have the love interest, I was interested in the 2 characters being infatuated with each other rather "oh these 2 boring friends kissed ... boring"

in a more serious manner: I do not believe in endless continuation. Doing so will over time mostly result in people hitting a dry spell and at worst changing up a formula to the point that the heart of something that once made it great is gone. That or things in general can just overstay their welcome. That said, I obviously prefer it if stories get a proper ending instead of never ending or a non ending. One of the biggest drawbacks for me with some 90s cartoons was that you never could feel in some shows like there really was something of a high note to end on.
