>Zoomers are now nostalgic for the Nostalgia Critic, blissfully unaware that he was never fumny and is considered one of the worst Cartoon creators of all time.
What went wrong? Why do Zoomers have shit taste?
Zoomers are now nostalgic for the Nostalgia Critic...

When did he create a cartoon?
>Zoomers are now nostalgic for the Nostalgia Critic
no fucking way. i doubt zoomers even know who notalgia critic is
>and is considered one of the worst Cartoon creators of all time.
What?
This guy has literally always been cringe
I'm a 18 year old Zoomer who was a big fan of the Nostalgia Critic between 2011 and 2013. But by the time I was 15 or 16 I was able to realize how cringey and not funny his content was even before the Change the Channel Controversy. I think it was his stupid Hocus Pocus video or maybe his Christmas Story 2 review. I honestly think the reason he appealed to kids like me was he seemed edgy and alternative. Sort of like how Beavis and Butthead or South Park appealed to kids in the 90s. But obvious the Critic is much less funny than either of those things.
Nostalgia critic was never supposed to be for cartoons he just resorted to it after his original audience bailed when he quit the character the first time.
Why do all critics claim toilet humour is for idiots and the lowest form of comedy but then call bad movies poopy shit fart shitty buttfarts
>shooting n...
shooting NIGGERS ?
How he get away with this
Of all the shitty pastas, I hate this one the most.
This guy fucks btw.
anyone seen his Porco Rosso review? It's literally him scream:
>Why is Porco a pig? I don't get it? What so special about a pig? It's not funny! he should be an alien!
The Cinema Snob is better
>tfw you started watching him 10 years ago
>and is considered one of the worst Cartoon creators of all time.
>I DON’T GET IT
Don't worry OP I got your joke
I'm 30 years old and I find them Charming and fun
Bitch, no one over the age of 25 watches NC.
Wrong.
i'm 42, and i never heard of this guy.
he animated some shorts.
I liked his review of the Barney movie, if only because the guy who actually played Barney got filtered by it.
kek what a faggot
>he was never funny
He rode a wave of nostalgic pop culture navel gazing that let him find a niche where he was the funniest man on the material. If he's the only one making jokes about a direct to vhs movie from 25 years ago then he's telling the funniest jokes about it. For the record I do think he was funny, he was free niche entertainment in an era where that wasn't as common as it is today. Making fun of Doug or calling him cringe is like calling radio dramas cringe, yeah they are but they were what people had at the time.
>BLACK MAN
>WOMAN
I'm not sure Bob West is wrong
He used to be funny, back when he was making fun of 80's and 90's movies. Then he decided to try to be all deep and look for the redeeming side of more recent movies. Then he went straight to shit, doing skits with his 2 loser hangers-on and only saying good things about movies. We miss when he'd tear the shit out of movies. His Sidekicks review is still hilarious.
If anything zoomers know him from memes that dunk on him
he was never funny and anyone defending him is an autistic loser
Nostalgia Critic pre-Boldly Flee was okay-to-actually funny. Have a reply.
Except he's right.
Y'know, for someone we're all supposed to hate and not watch, everyone sure fucking stays up to date on the Nostalgia Critic. He's like Family Guy, the Arbiters of Taste said we weren't allowed to watch it anymore, but whenever they make a weird or gross episode word sure spreads fucking quickly.
I watch pretty much everything Doug puts out and discovered him long ago at this point. I give him the respect he deserves as far as that goes, being somebody who's content I watch and get some entertainment value out of.
That being said, he's always been cringe (yes always) and is basically the cringey untalented cousin of James Rolfe. A big part of his appeal for anyone without autism is the cringe factor, the "wow I wonder what awful joke he'll drag on for too long and how he'll make an idiot out of himself this time" factor. It's been a part of why I always watch him anyway. I don't hate Doug or think anyone shouldn't watch him, but that doesn't make him not a cringey jackass. You click for the nostalgia (or these days....just, pop culture-gia....) and stay for the cringe.
Also, just since I thought of that, his channel has a lot less value now that he doesn't even bother to dig up nostalgic shit you're too lazy to watch fully or just forgot about. That was another part of the appeal, lots of his older videos covered shit I totally forgot about and would like to see recapped, but now he just does commentary modern capeshit.
They were 12, now they're 22.
most based post so far
Stop making these stupid threads, you autist.
I can safely say that the Pixar one isn't me, you can even see me thanking OP for spamming the board. The more, the better.
Also it makes retards like you mad, get fucked zoomer.
No one believes you.
Why are there so many of these threads all of a sudden
You're entitled to your wrong opinion.
Mentioning "The Critic" alongside 90's adult cartoons... from the mouths of zooms
>Making fun of Doug or calling him cringe is like calling radio dramas cringe
A good story is a good story regardless of the medium.
Lack of originality or creativity.
Hopefully the quarantine will keep his co-workers away so he can finally make a review without shitty skits inside.
He didn't though, genius. Did you forget what the topic of the discussion was midway through his post? Do you need to take your razadyne?
Because as "awful" as it is, it also draws views therefore it sells. So most critics fall into this rut of needing to be a hypocrite if they want audiences to listen to their opinions.
>The problem is that cynicism and habitual negation can only get you so far as a human being...
Based Bob West predicting Yas Forums's eventual demise when everyone gets bored of spamming racism everywhere.
BAT CREDITCARD
The Critic was a 90s adult cartoon, dumbass.
When did NC peak?
When he was covering 80's movies. Before Tamara and Malcolm showed up.
I've never had the nerve to watch this.
Can someone please describe it, hopefully in some detail if possible?
>Movie exec offers Doug a chance in Hollywood
>Invites him to an Eyes Wide Shut-tier party filled with the political/financial elite
>Doug gets freaked out and turns it down
>Back when you eagerly awaited every new nostalgia critic video and were super into Homestuck
We don't talk about 2013.
Yes that's an accurate picture of yourself.
I'm watching his review of Balto 2 right now
