Why do so many people idolize Rorschach when Ozymandias is clearly the perfect human being and the chad to end all chads? He's my idol. I wish 'The Veidt Method' was a real book/magazine so I could read it and become more like him. I'm sad that both of his live action portrayals have been mediocre, but then again no-one is really cut out to portray him. Maybe Brad Pitt prime.
Why do so many people idolize Rorschach when Ozymandias is clearly the perfect human being and the chad to end all...
I know that you're joking but the reason is because Moore clearly wrote him to be a character forced to give up his ideals, he give up being a superhero, he give up being moral, he give up his friends and in the end he's forced to live with doubts and regrets.
He's not objectivelly wrong but by an emotional point of view he ended up as the asshole
Pretty much every hero in Watchmen isn't a good person. Ozymandias comits mass murder, Dan and Laurie stay silent about said murder despite knowing the truth, Rorschach is paranoid and violent, Dr. Manhattan is completely detached from humanity and the Comedian is a war criminal. But at the same time all of them are given sympathetic moments.
Ozymandias did nothing wrong. He saved the world from nuclear devastation. He never gave up his morality, it all fits into his utilitarian ideas of saving humanity and using his genius for good. And his self-doubt at the end is just the icing on the cake, showing that he still empathizes with normies and isn't so arrogant that he can never question his actions.
So like a DC Hero during Identity Crisis?
He was literally a gay pedophile
>gay
based
>pedophile
Where do you get that from? Don't tell me it's any 'before watchmen' shit
Ozy sucks Rorschach is based.
Alan Moore sucks and Steve Ditko is based.
If he was such a super genius, why was his password so easy to guess?
