>What is this thread? Every Wins'day at Win-O'-Clock we gather here and post links to the latest scans and rips of comic books. Most links we uploaded ourselves, others we are sharing from elsewhere. Some comics we've even purchased ourselves (but most we didn't). If you'd like to help out, just ask and we would be delighted to tell you how. Otherwise, be patient, be polite, and understand the simple concept behind these words: Not posted means not available yet.
>Where can I find downloads for other comics? Warez forums/blogs, DDL-indexing search engines (like FilesLoop), torrent trackers (like ETTV) and other P2P networks (like DC++). If a link has been posted on Yas Forums, you can search for it in the Desu archive (add "http*" to searches to return only posts with links). If all else fails, just >buy it.
>Where can I buy comics? comixology.com/ amazon.com/ On the various publishers' webstores, and at your local comics shop.
>How do I download from websites that only give me .exe files? Untick the checkbox under the download button.
>How can I find this thread every week? If you are using the inline extension go to Yas Forums.org/co/official or use the option under "Filters & Post Hiding". If you have 4chanX go to Settings > Filter > Subject and add the following line: /Official Win-O'-Thread/;highlight
>114002660 not that user was requesting them, but from earlier this week's Hitlist:
'The Lonely Suburban Male' 14 page screen printed zine published by Culture Commune (France) in 2015.
A deep and disturbing exploration into various lonely, occasionally violent and mostly sexually perverse characters operating in various parts of our world or in a parallel or forgotten world. Drawn and written whilst living in Berlin. In the midst of struggling with a love/hate relationship of the party scene, generally wanting to leave the city but not being able to afford to, working a call centre job in which I had to wake up at 4:30am every day and cycle half an hour in the cold to and reflecting on a good friend and housemate that had grown aggressive and isolated before being caught by police and sectioned in a mental institution with psychosis.
This struggle with always feeling tired, early mornings met with hours upon hours at work sat in a daze, drinking coffee and reading endless pages about serial killers, cults and cannibals (thanks True Crime Library) intermittently with some JG Ballard stories and a book about the dark web manifested itself into this work. These drawings and stories look into some of the characters I had been reading about, had met in real life or had conjured up in my own head. They take the reader into their lives for each individual page. Stories of date rapists, online chatrooms, chemsex, sexual fetishes, grief, drug addiction, hallucinogenics, insanity, orgies, murder and mutilation.
Again, from user's announce hub info dump, this is from the past week's late Hitlist before WINSDAY:
Both by Stephen Morton, a self-described Irish Times award winner who wants to get off the dole (who knew they get as much as $700+ US on welfare there?), these are all black and white and similar to his cover.
Smut user would not be amused (stephenmorton.bigcartel.com)
can anybody please rip this, thanks in advance and keep healthy everyone . Garfield: Garzilla Original Graphic Novel

it makes me wonder if this whole digital code now and physical comic later on thing goes through will we get double comics the week it starts up again?
Brody Green
I have a feeling comics will go the digital route from now.
Jaxson Lee
after 10 years of people still continuing to buy physically? probably only gonna happen if the boomer remover removes them all
Henry Collins
how will people get physically copies of comics if the shops remain closed ?? the digital way may be the only option from now on for people to get them.
Cameron Ortiz
they go to pick them up after this all blows over and we leave the winchester
Logan Gonzalez
I guess this crisis pretty much kills any chances of the popeye comics made by E. C. Segar to get physically reprinted in the future I suppose ,they are now heavily out of print and some ebay ebay sellers are charging abot 900 dollars for the complete collection that's probably way to rich for anybody's blood, (sight) it's too bad digital copies don't exist for them.
Thomas James
There are people who will only want to buy physical, because they are collectors or the speculators who buy those issues with variants, and people who simply prefer to read that way.
The trade and collected market won't be impacted, it already exists and is very healthy outside of the share that's purely Diamond.
LCS will probably be hugely impacted as many other similar mom/pop business will be.
And they already have studies that the digital market is only about 15-20% of the direct/trade market.
Aiden Jenkins
Some shops are doing mail order for the people who had pull lists or want catalog item and they are doing drop off/curbside service.
I'm sure they can even sell some of those poly bag bundles for people who are really bored and still have excess cash.
Isaiah Green
i usually buy variants because i like the cover art and i'm not spending $50-100 on the artists website for something slightly bigger
diamond pretty much put the nail in that this week tho by not sending anything out
There is a digital copy out there of at least one of the six volumes, so there IS hope. One day I may just knuckle down and scan the things though; I do own all six books.
Jacob Long
well at least it's good to know that somebody does have the complete popeye comics made by Segar, I think volume 5 is the most difficulty to obtain I hope you scan them someday.
I loved you since I knew ya I wouldn't bump down to ya I have to tell you just how I bump I won't share you with another bump

MISSING OTGW comics/GNs.
Over the Garden Wall: Hollow Town Over the Garden Wall: Distillatoria Over the Garden Wall: Tome of the Unknown Over the Garden Wall: Circus Friends
anyone? thanks.
Daniel Nguyen
Nothing new from the hubs?
Bentley Lewis
Diamond is possibly fucked, if they aren't being paid by the LCSs (which frankly serves them right to a certain extent), which is the excuse that Diamond is using not to pay vendors (meaning folks like IDW, DH, Boom and the other really smaller though big independent publishers), the smallers ones below them are in trouble of going out of business, even with those returnable payroll loans for small business, which is only going to cover a certain amount of loss for the people who are on the ball and file for those loans.
Image in particular will be fine save for the smaller titles. It's going to fuck over the people who aren't Kirkman and who didn't sell well like Hickman. DC and Marble will also be fine. Marble will likely be the one that needs to cut costs and cut back on the number of physical issues they were shipping, particularly in there is a decline in LCS stores, which there likely will be.
Question for hub anons is AirDC++ a good client? It seems the most up to date.
Samuel Collins
All available if you know where to look
Luis Morales
Shadowcat, please, please, give me something from DC or Marvel! I need my fix
Hudson Sanchez
I just found only Tome of the Unknown and others aren't ripped yet.
Connor Young
Another tunafan scan:
Pube Smoke is a short “Mini-Comic” from Seattle underground comic writer/artist Max Clotfelter (Rooftop Stew, The Elements Of Rough); dark, filthy tales of Modern Life drawn in Clotfelter’s dark, filthy, inkladen amazing style. 20 digest pages, glorious black and white throughout (self-published).
It's an adequate peer to peer client. If you have a WinTel computer or a chrome book or some such, it will probably be as good as anything else to use. Get it from GitHub and there's some guides to setting it up on there as well.
Cameron White
Thanks, one last question is there a better option or are they all more or less the same?
I use the Mac client so I'm the wrong person to ask, but most folks recommend Strong which is a DirectConnect client (DC++); many others use ApexDC++ and recommend that as well.
Folks might jump into the thread later and respond to you or you can ask again over the weekend.
Henry Bell
Here you go - you should be able to run all this via JD2
