What did everyone think of the new episode?
Primal (plague) Talkback
Kinography in animated form
this got new episods? when?
didnt the last season end with Fang being KIA or some shit
>mfw Fang walked into view healthy
This dream sequence was crazy.
One of the better episodes. I wish we could have gotten a date for the last batch though.
The zombie dinosaur was menacing as fuck.
It's not like they were gonna kill him off. You can't have a show without the two main characters, especially when everything is conveyed without any dialogue.
The fuck is going on!? Mega? Link? Anything?
Shes alive I'm guessing she just had to recover for a time. Weird that they just ignore it, but thats Genndy.
>him
We got a general premiere date of fall 2020
I assume this wasn't ep 6
Fangs the girl Tyrannosaur and you never know it could've been a bait and switch. The show is only a few months old with 5 episodes before this one.
Apparently, this is episode 8 according to a copyright strike. We'll probably see something when they finally drop episode 6.
It's on kimcartoon
The way they framed them walking into the ultrasaurus valley was perfect. You can really tell they were scared as fuck stumbling on that zombie crimescene.

My favorite thing about these two is how their expressions often complement or mirror each other.
BLLLEEEAAAAGGGGGHHHHH
I'd like to think the creator of this series is a Metal Slug fan, but it's probably a coincidence.
is this a new episode? did it start up again?
Not to completely shit on your and post like yours, but do you not get what kind of writer Genndy is? Even with how nuts he's going here, do you really think he's going to kill of one half of the main characters? If anything, he'll do it at the actual very end of it all. And it may not even be Fang.
fucking disgusting
(and that's a good thing)
There's nothing necessarily showing that this happened after EP5, so being that it was an April Fools release, it could just be a stand alone episode that isn't entirely canon, or was a sorta joke episode that takes space some time before EP5.
Just sayin.
>What did everyone think of the new episode?
You know, for a second there, I thought that this airing on April Fools meant that it was a one-off that Genndy was just letting loose with, but then I remember that this show has shit like berserker drug sludge for fighting so why not a zombie virus? It was hype as fuck.
I remember in earlier threads they said this was episode 8
The real question is why they aired out of order for such a heavy continuity series
So what exactly stopped the entire herd from reanimating despite being bitten or scratched and such by it?
brutal
Infection appears to not reanimate the dead, only infect living dinosaurs, then degrade them
I mean they're an animator. Metal Slug is fantastic animation.
I tought it was kinda weird how the cliffhanger from the last episode wasnt adressed, we all knew dino mom wouldnt die but still
>user posts their well thought out opinion on Yas Forums.
I was half expecting the entire herd to reanimate behind them after the main one fell to its "death". I guess not.
How the fuck was the zombie Brachiosaurus still "alive" while it was swimming in lava?
Well it killed them all before being infected. This isn't Walking Dead rules of airborne "everyone is a carrier"
>Spend just enough time to show that the big ass dinos are patient, reserved, care for their young, and 'good' before the infected dino massacres them all
honestly its amazing show don't tell shit
I just expected it to work like a regular zombie plague. Bites and what not, but I guess it doesn't reanimate or needs a "living" host.
It kept making its It will not die checks.
Cartoon logic and dramatic effect. It was even still alive after falling down a canyon
Were any of you eating during this scene? I ate soup with squash and still felt fine. Also the animation was pretty top-tier.
Well that virus couldn't feel anything so it just kept pushing the host
It's 28 days later rules, not zombie rules.
Super rabies. You keep fighting until all your vitals are gone. Pain inhibitors turned off. I half expected that thing to stay dead after it fell in the canyon, and that some dumbass scavenger dinosaurs would be munching on the carcass (only to get infected and continue the chase).
That said hoooly shit I forgot how amazing this show was. And it also made me want Genndy to finish Symbionic Titan.
Was anyone else legitimately creeped out and spooked by this? That's a fucking rarity with anything let alone cartoons for me these days. I actually had a bad dream about it. The part where it kept drinking and drinking really got to me for some reason.
It was pretty fucking unnerving. The scene where it kept drinking made me feel pretty bad for the fucking thing though. I like how it was something they couldn't fight or even outsmart, they just kept running and were basically fucked.
>release the plague episode during a pandemic
what were they thinking
Reminds me of the Zombie Survival Guide. I believe there is a section about the host gorging themselves on water as their temperature escalates trying to burn out the infection. Followed by the expelling of anything it could.
Kek and on AF no less. Cheeky fucks.
I mean, sucking down water goes with any fever. But i've definitely been sick and have drunk enough water to drown myself in but it's just never enough. Now imagine that as you're oozing snot and tears and your flesh is fucking sloughing off of you
I felt genuinely touched at the scene with the longnecks fuck you I'm calling them that, Land Before Time was my teacher peacefully living their lives at their nests.
I was concerned and humored at this little apeshit infected duckbill dinosaur running in and then getting curbstomped like a gnat by the Now-Infected-Longneck.
I became legitimately horrofied at the carnage following.
And then every single scene afterwards I was actually, physically leaning forward in my seat in tension, wondering what was going to happen next.
Then that last scene actually hit me. It was like Spear was thinking "No one needs to go out like this."
AS: What're we going to do for April Fools this year? Everything's fucked with this coronavirus deal.
Genndy: Hey guys, I got you a list of new episodes for the upcoming season 2 of primal.
>AS proceeds to read the title of Episode 8
>AS smiles.
>inb4 the final boss of the series is a fucking kaiju
Itll be another caveman.
where can I watch it?
On the telly
refer to
who the fuck still has cable?
do you still live with your parents?
were can i watch this?
Well it burned away eventually, still love the look of horror in Spear when he cloned the zombie and realized that it’s insides were rotten and dead too, something like that’s a mind fuck for a Caveman since an absolute rule of his world is that dead things stay dead and don’t keep trying to kill you as they fall apart
