Self-loathing, despair, anger and bitterness prevented her from actually accepting Zee's sincere offer of forgiveness and friendship at face value. In other words, she hates herself so much that she can't fathom anyone else sincerely liking her and immediately lashed out at Zee for what she perceived as pity and conceit. Her hatred of herself and her circumstances are also externalised to fuel her hatred of the world and the very system she perceives to have damned her to a life of alienation and feeling uncomfortable in her own skin.

She was evil in the episode with the street magician. I really like they referenced she turned blue-ish when she was bad.

Diana is best girl but all the others are great in their own way. Z really needed her own episodes.
