and there's always schools that have indoor swimming pools

which I apparently figured out that animating characters in bathing suits for Jade Animation was probably somewhat complicated (usually females in bikinis would look like they were wearing a bikini for 10 year olds except it actually fits teenagers) and they probably risked animation errors where characters would appear nearly naked
They made up for it with their abundance of feet episodes.

I believe we did get a quick scene in one episode but I'm not going to search through them all to find it.
well there was an animation error in "The Doctor is In" where Alyson was drawn with sandals by mistake instead of her usual knee-high shoes
Well imagine they had this story to make up for that.
Basically Sharon's in her bed, sleeping, then she's having a dream where she's lost in a vast desert, then a mishap from her braces (caused by talking!) spawns a massive sandstorm that blows her away Alice in Wonderland style, then she lands in Miami Beach, Florida where her friends and everyone from Elkford High (her school) are there (they are having a week-long "cultural immersion" field trip there, Brock even explains it to Sharon in a flashback-style backstory) and with a running gag of "if this were a dream could I/you/we do this?" followed by something unreal happening or being done, it's a Beach Blanket Bingo story from there where they're having fun on the beach and are all clad in bathing suits, meanwhile Dr. Hertz (Sharon's orthodontist) is now in a new job in the CIA working to capture Sharon now that her brace powers have him convinced she's a witch (MKUltra reference much?)
