Jasper was always stronger than Garnet. Garnet managed to not get insta-poofed in Jailbreak but still got her shit fucked up. It was Lapis who beat Jasper.

You don't use the powers of both gems, you fuse the powers togethers. And for fire and ice is hard rock

Stevonnie and Smokey "beat" Jasper. I.E. they forced her to retreat. Garnet just threw Jasper into the reactor and that didn't wind her.

I think grinding in the woods while everyone else played the peace game boosted Jaspers strength and powers. None of the off colors or Quartzes could get out the dome but Jasper punches through it like paper

I think she was always physically stronger than Garnet and Garnet just had her beat in being able to keep her composure + being smart enough to utilize her surroundings to her advantage.

Jasper IS probably stronger in Future than she was in SU though, I think her upgraded horned helmet is supposed to signify that she was able to get stronger after dedicating all her time and focus to training during the two years after CYM, and she fights more tactfully against OP Diamond Steven than she did in any of her fights in the original series even though they were sparring and she wasn't even trying to kill him.

Amethyst is stronger than Pearl, but Pearl is so capable it doesn't matter.

My headcanon is that Amethyst consciously avoids exceeding Pearl because she doesn't want her to feel bad. She is perfectly comfortable at the bottom

Hasn't Alexandrite been shown using the individual weapons of all the Crystal Gems including Sugilite, Sardonyx and Opal? I know Alexandrite is significantly stronger than Garnet, but it seems a bit weird that that's possible but Garnet can't use Ruby and Sapphire's fire and ice powers.

Garnet and Jasper seemed to be more or less equally matched when they fought on the ship on even grounds, and Jasper gets her ass kicked by practically every other fusion. Honestly her best trait is probably just how much damn punishment she can take.

Amethyst beat Pearl when they fought, though. I'm pretty sure Pearl is the weakest of the three Crystal Gems in a straight fight, even if she's a smarter fighter than Amethyst.

And Jasper easily smashes Garnet through multiple stories of the ship. Garnet being able to lift Jasper's body weight doesn't make her stronger than Jasper in terms of brute strength because Jasper can lift ten times that with one hand.

It's kind of silly too because SU is incredibly inconsistent with physical stats. Gems can withstand absurd force in one episode, and then get cracked by the equivalent of a shotgun blast in another. Garnet herself hit a volleyball with enough force to glass the impact area, a feat that's illogical on several levels.
