Endless all this time has been nothing but an enigma. Sooner or later Reggie and the trio will have come to terms about there life choices in endless especially Reggie. I've noticed a lot about the show and its escapism, lack of human connection (Reggie mostly), existentialism with the trio. Maybe "If we get" next season there be an intervention in endless showing them the error of their ways.

Butt Witch seems like a outliner. Endless seems to generally produce entities that, though problematic, tend to teach the trio a valuable lesson. They not really evil too. Whatever Butt Witch is, I don't believe she's evil because of Endless.

My best idea is that she was a former toy to a child owner that was abandoned because the kid wanted to mature and thought she must dispose of her doll (pre-corruption Butt Witch) to do so. Perhaps, but Butt Witch is such a dangerous entity that I doubt Endless would create her. It's one thing to allow the creation of that one price-checking monster, it's another to create a evil that has cast potential. She wanted to kill of the islanders and to reform the island under her image, possibly to the point of destroying it.

Endless is definitely evil. It's pretty unambiguous at this point. Between it driving people insane, kids getting lost in it for decades until they forget who they were, and the Butt Witch strongly hinting that it took a much less cheerful form in the past, I don't see any room for doubt.

As far as Reggie goes, she'll be fine, most kids are like that on some level at some point.

I think it's better to say it's amoral. It's not really doing anything actively to force them to stay. Butt Witch is also (apparently) a independent entity from Endless, so I don't think you can fault it for her. Concerning Reggie, though I do think she'll eventually make it pass her crisis, hers is particularly bad. Like, most twelve year olds wouldn't make a scab garden. Ugh.
