Nu-Broly would have been way better if it stayed centered around Vegeta, the sudden shift to highlight Goku as the star when naratively it's been Vegeta's movie is jarring. Goku hogs the spotlight in everything he's forced in while simultaneously being one of the worst characters and straight up a terrible person at this point.

Think about it, Frieza saga: he lets frieza power up and it results in the loss of a planet, cyborg saga: Trunks told everyone what to expect and rather than be sensible while Vegeta makes an ass of himself Goku agrees to not roll up and murder Gero before the cyborgs get up and running, Cell saga: gives Cell a senzu because Gohan would have an easy fight otherwise and gets himself killed as a result, Buu saga: refuses to kill buu despite admitting he had the power, TOP: forces multiple universes to fight in a life or death situation for his own amusement and made people suffer the knowledge that when they failed and their universes were erased it was because they couldn't hack it as well as forced the writers to asspull an excuse to make him seem less horrendous. Imho the last one is his worst offense to date
