How did comics writers go from this

Police officers don't see combat either, they don't get PTSD?
What about forensic and corps recovery teams? Does watching a destroyed human body doesn't cause PTSD? Just combat?

Shooter is a shit writer

Imagine looking at avengers #200 and saying “yep, this is a good celebratory issue”

>police dont see combat
Are you stupid? I get what you're saying but that's a dumb way to defend your point, anyone that's watched one episode of Cops or knows a cop knows they deal with combat situations. That's why police and military often work hand in hand and have similar defense tactics.

Imagine being scared by dead bodies in 2020

Lack of standards is why.

Combat is not enforcement. Police don't see "combat" they have confrontations, but never combat since they're dealing with civillians they need to preserve if possible.

I for one would. Its telling that Marvel's best era was under him. A strong leader produces a strong body of work. A limp wristed spineless leader like Cuck Boy Cebulski produces garbage like the new "New Warriors" comic and Children of the Atom.

Not scared, but there's real effects for handling evisarated, lacerated or dismembered bodies.

Good artists routinely get poached by the videogame industry.

This isn't just comics writers, this is the general decline of masculinity in the west.

Also this, but there was only ever big money in comics in that late 1980s/early 1990s boom period before the crash. Up to the 1960s writers and artists worked in comics because it was fun, steady work, then there was a steady flow of fans turned pro, who wanted to work on characters they loved. They've largely been replaced by people who want to use comics to promote their agenda, so the low pay doesn't matter to them.
