The title itself disqualifies any and all of her complaints.

It's beautiful.

I don't mind the art style, it's pretty nice, but they could stand to rip off Scott Pilgrim slightly less.

>Portland
Well no wonder, she was born to awful tumblr tribes.

God, even LA fuckers know it but they still try to export their bullshit to the rest of the country.

>LA is shit
>But WHAYT PIPO
lol

"There was a single white guy in my last board meeting and I didn't see him suck a cock so PLEASE WE NEED MORE DIVERSITY!!!"

OK, Tumblr.

Nobody cares if you are late
'Cause even teachers think you're great
Your weekend's just a full-on slate of blowout benders
Of teenage rockstar splendor

how about some more tips from our favorite animators

Attached: Page - 083.jpg (1800x2700, 1.14M)

That sounds really gay.

>pole dance studio

Weird....... going over this comic, I just can't understand how the quality of Western animation has fallen so much................

>if you're a good, decent person
She's saying if you don't show up to your interview freebleeding and burning a picture of Trump in effigy you won't get hired.

Really glad this isn't a stroytime because I'd probably loose interest halfway through.
Thanks for giving us the real meat & potatoes, op

>all of my jobs came from friends

Yeah I'll bet.

>boards on She-Ra
Opinion discarded

Is that it?
What was the stuff that got people up in arms over this?

Thanks. There's more ridiculous pages in there. At first I was going to do a storytime, but this thing is almost 100 pages long.

I'm so sick of faggy ass women's comics. Poorly drawn, pastel colors and terrible sequential decision making based upon what they can draw rather than what makes the story good.

It's just the typical upper-class female whinging. She moans that Portland is a hipster capital while running around LA in pink hair.

It's fucking hilarious.

>h-haha t-t-this doesn't bother m-me at all! this is fine!

>If you're not a nice person, and you're also not good at your job, no one's gonna want to hire you.
Is she saying that you can still get hired despite not being good at your job?
But I liked this overall, very nice artstyle and it's nice to actually recognize the difficulties of living in large job market cities. But for all her complaining she sure does know a ton of fun stuff to do in the city, so I'm not sure how she's bothered by it as a whole.

There's not sequential about this. This isn't a comic.

>Is she saying that you can still get hired despite not being good at your job?
Nepotism.

It's from a play so yeah kinda

It really seems to be more important that you're a pink-haired turbo SJW than it is for you to be able to draw, write, or speak competently.

Anybody praising the "art" ITT is an absolute asshole.

ahaahahaha, I moved here for work and there are more republicans past 82nd street than liberals.

Are you gay, user?
Haha...

I'd assume so. Same with LA, it's just harder to be "out" so to speak.

Only sometimes. Being bisexual means never having to worry if traps are gay or not.

But she herself *is* a straight, white, cis female...

How is that any different??

American Here. Los Angeles used to be a dangerous area. New York Actors got mugged and Raped at night.

Paul Dini actually got mugged at night but didn't factor in how wide LA streets and space are.

Fran Drescher got raped so hard that she came and divorced her husband because he turned gay from watching Black Men rape his wife.

You have to understand that New Yorkers often seek vengeance and retribution. Make fun of them and they will gun you down.

The Subway Vigilante of the 80s is seen as a hero for gunning down Black Men on the 2 Train. Signed New Yorker

>typical upper-class female whinging.
One of the consistently worse parts of western society, having to listen to women complain about how awful they have it while men die in the trenches.

Vaginas are very important.

Brainwashed roastie.

Because its literally just this It's all just bog standard stuff I already expect. Theres nothing distinctive about the author that makes me despise her more than the mold shes from.I remember there were actual animators that had arguments about this book when it came out because they said something along the lines of it's a poor picture of the industry but I don't see it. Granted I think this excerpt doesn't cover it because from just this it looks like she's doing just fine and only has to complain about LA instead of the job.

Nah if you draw like this you're a smelly dyke.

I honestly don't know what your point was. That LA is more "dangerous"? Depends on the decade really, both aren't that dangerous anymore relativel speaking.

something something "whamen bein' oppressed an shit"

Los Angeles used to be dangerous because of the drug lords empowered by police officers to fight other gangs and wipe them out.

San Andreas is based on a LAPD Unit.

LAPD are trained like soldiers: Shoot first and ask questions later.

Women of all races could make up 99% of every level of creative production and they'd still complain because the janitor is a white guy.

okay, ignore my bait. I completely agree with you.

The best way I can describe Drug Kingpins in LA is that they were the heroes of the community.

Big Smoke is just Suge Knight

comics don't have to be sequential

>My SO
Why would you call your own boyfriend an SO?

Because "boyfriend" is too gendered.

No, I'm serious that's a real thing.

This doesn't seem too preachy. It's a sheltered suburbanite who went to the big city and got everything she wanted with little effort and thinks it's hard knocks. It's like being lectured to by a kid. Just take it for what it is and enjoy the cutesy art.

There I fixed the saturation problem with the cover.
Is that how it's supposed to be?

Attached: 1585402697923.jpg (1809x2700, 2.14M)

Scott pilgrim swipe

SO is a term used for when you don't know someone's situation. Using it on your own partner is incredibly distancing and weird.
I can't wait for 2015 to end
