How do you think things turn out for him after the show?

How do you think things turn out for him after the show?

I think it's left open ended for a reason. On a related note, I wonder what states don't exist in that world? It said there's 39 of them

Who fucking cares.

Bluebird shatters him when he's all alone.

This is what happens when you ignore loose ends, Steven.

A boy with no high school diploma looking for work in a strange town? He's moving back home quickly. Honestly though, of all the options open to him, why pick Earth? He could live on some other gem world and not have a mortgage to worry about.

Sucks stranger dick

He gets married and has 2 kids, A pet Sentient Apple, that one eyed cat and he's gonna move to Ohio.

I think Steven actually wants a mortgage. He craves normality.

Bluebird couldn't even break his shield lol

The guy wants to enjoy de planet he has been fighting for since his inception, let him work a minimun wage jod and live paycheck to paycheck, get the full human experience

His father is rich, and he owns an instant-travel cat. He'll live off daddy's money, making all his hard working neighbors hate him for it.

Marries Connie and lives boringly until Connie dies

No clue if Steven can die or not

He's home and native on earth. Living on homeworld all that time with only autistic gems was probably very uncomfortable.

There is Kansas, Delmarva, Keystone, and Jersey.
probably aint no Alaska or Hawaii

One day he will have the wrong thought, and will helpless transform into some shape that just straight up causes him to die from it.

Delmarva is a combination of Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia. So, I'm guessing several states are similarly combined. Like Cascadia but not that. Florida is an island, but that seems to be the only major landmass change.
And I bet Hawaii kept its independence.

He's human. He sleeps.

Also Empire State and probably Florida Island.

I’m a bit surprised that they mentioned Providence. Also that it’s an island in this universe.

>He craves normality.
sad

dakotas, carolinas, virginias. 47.
Alaska and Hawaii, probably, 45.
Delaware and Maryland combined, 44.
New Hampshire and Vermont combined, 43
Washington and Oregon combined, 42,
Connecticut and Rhode Island, 41.
Other than that no idea

listen
LISTEN
While watching these last four episodes, I was physically in shock and awe of how Rebecca Sugar can manage to make such a terrible ending
WHY DID THEY WASTE SO MUCH TIME DILLY DALLYING DURING THE LAST F O U R EPISODES
WHY DID STEVEN EVEN TURN INTO A MONSTER IT HAD NO BEARING ON THE ENDING WHATSOEVER
WHY DID THEY HAVE SUCH A GENERIC BLAND ENDING
HOW IS REBECCA SUGAR
SUCH
A
FUCKING
HACK?!??
I AM 2000% MAD THIS WAS SUCH A TERRIBLE SHOW, THIS WAS SUCH A TERRIBLE ENDING. I HATE SUGAR, I HATE STEVEN UNIVERSE< I"M DONE. DONE I"M FUCKING DONE.

The coronavirus happens and he becomes a bio-Posadist.

He either dies from the coronavirus. Or his powers mutate the virus and kills everyone else.

The government will discover he exists, and capture him for scientific vivisection fun times.

I think he finally gets to immerse himself in human life, marries Connie, becomes wagie, maybe enters education as a career field. I suspect at some point gem bullshit would call him back briefly. Like he said in the movie, his work's never really done.

I'm betting one of the first things he does is get in touch with his dads side of the family, spend some time with Andy and probably change his name to DeMayo.

Does this mean the CGs will never see their grandkids?

The door is still open for that, so I open he eventually walks through it.

Steven still has no legal documents including a social security number

grobsgeorgiums with alabama and mississippi

Wherever Steven goes, the Diamonds will track him down and sing to him when he least expects it.

He kissed Connie full on the lips so that ship has officially set sail. I expect at least one grandkid.

fuck off SSNtard

just like goku in heroes journey
they'll stalk their grandkids

His human half does but Pink Steven doesn’t. I’m sure if he was ever truly in some life-ending situation like that his gem half would kick into action to defend him automatically.

He moves to California and ends up dying of one of the plagues.

I hope he's alright.
He could be a botanist.

Will turn into Stevenzilla again when eventually onnie will break up with him for some actually relaible grow up man and will destry the whole earth

He's really been sheltered completely from the civilized first-world system. Could be potential for some funny hijincks shit about him incorporating into society as a fanfic or comic.

Not without any fucking form of school

Why wouldn’t they? They’re still gonna visit from time to time. Garnet’s even gonna plan the wedding.

That's still fucking retarded with all the changes to earth's history America and other modern nations shouldn't exist

When he visits Lars they both discover some crazy shit going on out there in the stars that will threaten Earth down the line. Cue new boss

Cant wait for the future edgy fan comics where Steven gets hooked on drugs or kills a human on the road

Looking at the world I'd say Florida is its own island nation. So 49.

Whatever's left of Georgia was probably split between a state that's possibly Alabama and Mississippi combined and possibly a singular Carolina state. 46.

Delmarva probably means Maryland doesn't exist and part of Virgina which might also still hace West Virginia. Did the Civil War happen? I dunno, but down to 44.

Dakota possibly never split into North and South. 43.

Possible Vermont never declared independence and there's a larger New Hampshire. 42.

Maybe the US never bought Alaska or annexed Hawaii. 40.

And they mentioned "Providence Island" which might mean their Rhode Island is a literal island made from Connecticut or Massachusetts eliminating one of them.

And that's 39.

>Not without fucking form of school
He can literally kiss a plant and bring it back from the dead. I'm pretty sure he'd find work just from that alone.

Will Steven die of old age? He has a human body, but it's self-healing and adaptable to his mental state, so it doesn't seem likely.

>Steven marries Connie
>Connie becomes president
>Connie gets assassinated by Bluebird during her time in office
>Steven will cry, creating Zombie-Connie
>Using Gem-influence over the masses, a singular-world government is created, with Connie as the leader of a unified Earth
>Centuries pass, Connie slowly loses her humanity, compassion, and empathy.
>A revolution starts
>War between Connie's government and the New Crystal Gems, made of various humans and gems
>The Off-Colors come in during the final hour to finally take down Connie, launching her into the Sun.
>Steven and Lars leave Earth together, finally staring their gay relationship.

The pessimist in me says it goes poorly since Steven clearly doesn't know much about the world and never had a job in his life but then again Greg's loaded, Steven's got space magic, and it seems like the SU version of Earth is a lot more friendly then ours so he'll be fine.

He picks up Connie after a couple days and they go off and fuck in every state in the US.

>Will Steven die of old age?
all evidence points to yeah

He's gonna rail Connie every single night for the rest of his life. And often during the day too

Based. Best girl gets the best ending.

Steven could drive around and sell his bottled piss as miracle cure. Frankly, Steven could heal all physical diseases for humanity just by bottling his tears or spit and sending it off to hospital. He could travel via Lion to accident sites to heal people on the verge of death. But it’s not a normal life path, so he will probably never do that.

I'm guessing your wrong about Florida with Greg's parents having classic snow bird tendencies, but really it doesn't matter, the lines are different and its not super hard to lose 11 states if your willing to merge or partition some,

He's not well. Everything in Future pointed to Steven ultimately confronting his final issue to solve - himself. But instead we get the Gems telling him what he already knew and what he never had a problem with.

Think about him possessing White. Steven doesn't ever harm White.

Steven harms his Gem side.

Well considering the creators of the show have been extremely coy about it ending,

"Are there going to be official comics?"
>"Any comic will not be official."

"Is Steven Universe ending as a franchise?"
>"Yes, Steven Universe Future is ending."

I can totally see them continuing it in some other form.

god I hope not

obviously it depends on who pays them to do what

I'm holding out for another movie, maybe something that doesn't center on Steven himself for once

The Eva comparisons were brought up for a reason. Steven needed to confront himself but he didn't.

I hope yes, I kinda want to see a prequel during the wars or a mini series focused on random gems

I think what the writers were going for is that he was too afraid to confront himself because he thought everyone would hate him, but when they finally saw the extent of how messed up he was and didn't ditch him, he gained the strength to confront himself

This would have come across better if his therapy and healing hadn't all been in a timeskip though
