The only character that was worth giving a shit about in this garbage show.

Prove me wrong.

I miss his long hair.

He’s still a bum

Nah Rebecca made him a fucking terrible father in the last few chances she would ever have.

I can't. He's going to go hog wild on little home world.

Not really.

To add onto that, now people will forever see him as the Future perspective of his character and continue to parrot the random shit Rebecca wrote in about not taking him to the doctor or putting him in school. Yet another thing for this kind of audience to latch onto to say daddy issues.

this, steven should have called him out when they were in the car.

Spinel!

Get off our board rockfuckers. It's over

His and Peridot's backs must hurt from carrying the show

>fucked a gem out of existence
>became rich
>lives in a van
>stayed a manchild all this time

i envy him.

Greg was right to keep Steven distant from his grandparents, because he tried to mend their connections. They never opened his letters.

>Steven's grand epiphany comes from taking Greg's road trip suggestion

>steven had a happy as fuck childhood his entire life
>not one OUNCE of him ever being unhappy that he didn't have a "normal" childhood like going to school or living in a van (even though he never really lived in a van and was seen living in fucking Vidalia's house when he was a baby because SU writers are fucking hacks who can't remember what they wrote in passed episodes)
>besides that, greg literally BUILT THE FUCKING BEACH HOUSE HE'S CURRENTLY LIVING IN WITH HIS OWN HANDS FOR HIM
>grew up perfectly educated and healthy
>abandoned his dream as a rockstar in order to raise steven
>let's not forget he's a single fucking dad

Rebecca Sugar: UHHHH STEVEN ACTUALLY NEVER LIKED LIVING LIKE THAT HE HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE CHILDHOOD EVEN THO WE NEVER PORTRAYED THAT GREG IS SUCH A BAD FATHER

Fucking this, Steven just needed something else to bitch about because for some reason his childhood trauma wasn't enough I guess

Bro that's nasty

The youtube poops and the porn are the best things to come out of this show.

GTFO newfag

Steven Jewniverse is right up there with Skooks for me, shit's amazing

good i have learned that its better to ignore certain kind of people in life. Ask them whats their opinion on greg and you'll know the best way to filter them.

Agreed

I know people wanted Steven to leave, but honestly, I’m just happy he, Greg and the Gems can have movie nights and shit.

Ey, don't forget about Peridot.

>Seasons 1-2 - Adventure cartoon that is generally happy-go-lucky. Steven deals with any issues he has with the support of his friends and family as time goes on.

>Final season - REEEEEEE! STEVEN IS LE ABUSED! MUH CHILDHOOD TRAUMA! MUH DADDY ISSUES!

There was not a single good reason for Steven to feel the way he did about what has happened to him, other than those involved forcining their own personal belief bullshit onto the show.

Imagine ruining your cartoon's story and legacy to cater to fake, narcissistic, munchausen twitter/tumblr fucks who are nothing more than overgrown children that are in severe need of a reality check.

>throwaway character that completely ruined season 2 with every episode evolving around her
>writers have no idea what to do with her after her purpose was served so she just becomes annoying side character comic relief to please fans

I think not

Funny that people seem to forget that detail

>this could have been Spinel’s fate
Wew, dodged a bullet.

Don't worry. Nothing that came after season three is canon.

Based

this is why mr. universe pissed me off so much. felt like a complete disregard of greg's character up until that very point for more forced drama. hell, even the episode before greg dropped off out of that tour just to fucking help steven

Opinions can’t be disproven.

next stop rocket science

>Steven's grand epiphany comes from taking Greg's road trip suggestion
This.

> Steven likes road trips so much he becomes an absent father just like Greg

Attached: ThisIsNoLongerPodRacing.jpg (444x337, 52.58K)

Absent?

I'm mad I called the ending and had my post deleted before this aired.

>he becomes an absent father just like Greg
It doesn't work when there is a lion that can teleport the mother and the child to him whenever they want!

>Steven comes back
>The gems are gone.
>He also has three new brothers.

It’s shocking how predictable the ending was

>does the bare minimum for his son
>father of the century

Attached: Ok, Greg.png (832x800, 318.28K)

I'm convinced that these people have no idea what the difference between a buddy and a parent is.

I really wish we got to see Greg hanging out with the Diamonds, not flirting with them or anything like that but just talking with them
there could've been a scene where White summons him to homeworld to teach the diamonds about humans
White is pretty much his mother-in-law

A buddy wouldn’t sacrifice his livelihood for his friend

I would think Greg did way more than the bare minimum, especially considering Steven’s status.

sauce...

how the fuck is any of that doing the "bare minimum"

I liked lion, he was a lion

It does bother me that Future kind of skims over the fact that Steven's nature meant that of course no one had a clue how to raise him.
The Test was pretty much all about that.

That doesn't mean the trauma isn't there, but it does happen to real kids. Sometimes life deals you a shit hand and your parents can't do much or don't know how to shield you.

If you rewatch that episode from Greg's perspective he doesn't look bad. He's always been like this, Steven was in the wrong for lashing out at Greg like that. Of course the name Mr Universe comes from a shitty rock song. Steven was just jaded.
You guys are just mad cause whenever a character you like isn't shown to be 100000% perfect you always overreact.

>It does bother me that Future kind of skims over the fact that Steven's nature meant that of course no one had a clue how to raise him.
How? It's mentioned several times.

>You guys are just mad cause whenever a character you like isn't shown to be 100000% perfect you always overreact.
Pearl’s entire fanbase disproves that

No, he’s still pretty bad. Greg’s just an overgrown brat manchild who used his own kid to rebel against his parents

The show kind of feels like there was supposed to have been A way they should have done it, but not really discussed how.

Wait, so why was he praised by the entire intern wet for seven years?

I liked the epilogue a lot more than the climax just for interactions like these.
Peridot's come so far...

Attached: peri2.png (768x850, 609.19K)

I don't mind Greg having flaws: I liked the conflict that came from him accidentally messing up Steven's powers by lying in House Guest and him originally being an irresponsible manchild in Greg the Babysitter. But what Rebecca did to him in Future was Jake Skywalker-tier character assassination by retconning him into an awful parent when he spent five seasons doing his best to be there and support his son despite his unconventional childhood, and doing a decent job of it all things considered.

He was based. The writers did him dirty at the end.

>him originally being an irresponsible manchild in Greg the Babysitter
Jesus this episode is pointless now. Why?

He finally got a house at least.

Him being compared to Rose was complete bullshit

>this episode is pointless now. Why?

If you haven't noticed, 80% of Steven Universe is pointless. Go back and watch and you'll realize the amount of bullshit filler and retcons were made. The story is not deep or interconnected in anyway. They relied on putting out tiny crumbs of actual plot every so often in order to keep people invested.

I'm not saying SU was bad by any means, but it absolutely did not have a great overall story to tell.
