She's a bitter woman who hated comics way back in the late 90s/early 2000s but didn't have much in the way of power to change them until recently. She was the one who came up with the whole 'Woman in Refrigerators' thing that most people ignored until the rise of social media and online feminism in the 2010s where she got a lot of clout and a following.

Which is a shame because she can be a decent writer when she wants to be, but I get the feeling she was on a short leash back in the day and forced to do what they wanted. Now that she's her own person with more authority, she realizes being a good writer doesn't pay much and can just sit around making 400 tweets a day about stupid stuff as she runs Valiant into the ground.

Also, her big idea of saving the industry is doing a DC and Marvel crossover, which was already done in the 90s and didn't save it during the 90s crash either. Not to mention the fact it would take years of legal planning and agreements which would mean it wouldn't actually happen until 2023 at the earliest, well past all the stores and companies being dead. Also, y'know, the whole thing that comic stores legally can't be open right now nor is Diamond shipping comics at the moment so there'd be no way to buy it even if it did come out tomorrow.

I don't know how rich she is, but she could make a token gesture and donate to some local comic stores if she really cared, but given a lot of the posts about her supposed crossover involves her writing them, It's clear she's more likely just looking for gig work and lining her own pockets and doesn't actually care.
