I think the first half will be road trip shenanigans, and arriving in Newtopia will be the big middle season episode.

I am sincerely hoping that the crew realizes what their strengths and weaknesses were in S1. The series's strongest point is the character interactions and the underlying plot of some deep-seated class war between frogs, toads, and newts. I hope S2 is entirely story and less slice-of-life bull shit

I don’t think it will be ENTIRELY story based. They still need one-offs to fill the reruns, which I’m ok with. Regardless, even the one-offs I think will have little bits of lore sprinkled in to make it interesting, kinda like GF

But the One Eye'd Wally episode was one of the best episodes of the season, and that was an SoL episode.

But that episode was important because it built Wally as a character and his relationship with Anne, and not in a meme way, but in an actually critically important way

I hope both Sasha and March get much more screen time in season 2 than they did in season 1, especially Marcy. Season 1 put all focus on Sasha, while ignoring Marcy, so season 2 should be much more focused on Marcy.
