BUMPING IF YOU'RE READING
F for Soviet friend
now that's the sort of thing you just don't get to see in comics.
F
oh shi-
holy shit
alright that's a bit much
And that's that.
Download links are unfortunately NOT in the Win-O' Thread YET. I don't know what the fuck is taking so long. I had to resort to "alternative means" to be able to storytime this for you guys tonight.
Thanks OP
Fucking hell, this mini was harrowing.
thanks OP, nice to have a good punisher comic after so long
Really excited for more Ennis Punisher. I know Get Fury is the one that was announced alongside Soviet, but I hope he writes a few more contemporary stories like this as well. Looking forward to the new Boys series next week, too.
Anus is trash
Wish I had been able to storytime this yesterday, but that's what happens when everyone in the Win-O' Thread is a total bitch.
Not the biggest fan of the covers on this series? I mean I get what they were going for, it's just that they're not all that aesthetically pleasing to look at. When you look at something like The Platoon, which had GREAT covers, there's just no comparison.
>the cartridge pops out with the bullet attached
ffs that's just lazy
Well SHIT! He did not waste any time! I was wondering what he was going to do. The obvious/clichéd thing would have been to use them for bait/bargaining, but he did not take any risks there.
>le russian collusion boogeyman
ffs ennis just can't help himself can he
Fucking read before you lose your shit. Did you not see what he did afterward? He removed the magazine and cleared the chamber so he could leave the rifle as a monument.
i dont think he fired it I think he was just clearing the chamber or checking it
What was the worst thing they did?
Holy shit, that's the most outwardly angry I've seen Frank in the MAX series.
Dumbass, he didn't use that rifle to shoot, that's why the cartridge still has the bullet in it.
>random senator is portrayed as corrupt
WOWWWW FUCKING SJWS STRIKE AGAIN
Line of the year?
Went with the merc group in attempt to kill Frank and Valery, or at least take credit for it since they were too coked up to see or think straight. They were pieces of shit in general, too.
So Valery was planning on doing that to his KIDS?! Is the implication supposed to be that Punisher decided otherwise because he thought that was too much for them?
FUCK!!!
fuck yeahhhh
>attempt to kill Frank
Yeah, OK, I somehow forgot about that. They pretty much had it coming then.
So since this is a max book and they’re using smartphones I assume it confirms that Aaron’s max ending has been retconned or ignored and the punisher still lives, also he somehow looks younger than he did in he did in the early max run so I guess he really did a deal with the Grim Reaper in born although that’s more headcanon
Highly doubt it was "too much" considering what we just saw what Frank forced Pronchenko to do to the senator. It's more than likely just that they (his sons) were inconsequential in the grand scheme of things and only deserved a bullet to the head and dumped aside like trash, that and Frank seemed kind of pressed for time.
I've never been a big fan of the idea that The Punisher would use torture unless he felt it was the only way to get results. But then again this is the MAX continuity, so it's technically a different version of the character.
Yeah, there was also a guy who thought the Punisher was his ride which indicates something like Uber or Lyft, so it definitely takes place in the 2010's.
Aaron's Punisher died in 2012.
Besides, there was a lot of major errors in Aaron's Punisher MAX that it may as well be its own continuity.
He has his limits though. Maybe he thought they didn't deserve THAT, but was willing to go there with the other dude. Or maybe it was a matter of forcing someone to do that to their own children that he couldn't go through with.
I think it was always pretty clear that the Aaron series was always its own separate standalone continuity unrelated to any other version of the character.
You know damn well that the "le russian collusion" nonsense is not a "coincidence". Ennis did that on purpose. And you also know damn well that politicians being on the take from Russians literally DOES NOT EVER HAPPEN. PERIOD.
Dude, shut up.
Is this the lightest on action of any Punisher MAX comic?
Well, no, it was supposed to be in a timeline with Ennis's Punisher. Frank has flashbacks to his fight with Barracuda and stuff.
Well, don't be so hasty. Back in the earlier half of the 20th century, one of the guys on the HUAC was on Soviet payroll, when the HUAC was mostly investigating fascists. Jewish fella by the name of Samuel Dickstein.

The first half of this miniseries was pretty meh. Second half was better, but overall it really felt like an average arc in Ennis' original MAX run. Still the best Punisher we've gotten in years though.
