Not only episode, but they won't make spinoff comics or anything. Sugar has had enough of CN and CN has had enough of this series
This is the last SU related anything that will ever be made
James Gonzalez
Sugar is a big fan of his, she used to post his lyrics on her tumblr years ago.
Gabriel Green
What’s SU future about? Is there even action?
Easton Taylor
the fucker is 16 what is he moving on from
Dylan Murphy
That’s basically the age where childhood ends
John White
They aren't?
Jeremiah Garcia
>implying CN would let his cashcow go
Even if Sugar doesn't want to keep going on with his show, what really matters is who owns the rights of SU
Alexander Phillips
Steven slowly falling into madness. It was quiet cathartic to look at.
>Live action
There isn't a live action.
Joseph Sanders
No, not LIVE action, ACTION! Like fight scenes
Noah Clark
You bet your ASS I am
Gavin Murphy
Just Fragments. Steven trains with Jasper. Becomes a Chad
Justin Johnson
What the fuck are they gonna do, make a Lapis and Peridot sitcom on the barn or something? That's the only idea I can come up with. SU's dead for me anyway, it died around that episode where Steven almost crushed all of his friends in a bubble because boo hoo they're all going away. Also Sadie's "partner".
Luis Campbell
What’s even the point? Is there like a story?
Landon Torres
Lars of the Stars, hopefully.
Christian Ward
you should already be married and have a stable job by that point
James Lee

Essentially, Rebecca Sugar pulled bullshit Diamond plot convenience powers out of her ass for Steven to discover, and now Steven's developing them and slowly losing his mind with every episode. Not worth it if you ask me, the writing's pretty bad this time around. Like, if you hated Change Your Mind, Future is just a more mediocre, extended version of that, breaking down the series' foundations, little by little, with as little consistency as possible. If you give the slightest crap about this show's quality, don't bother with it.
Zachary Barnes
Reminder Spinelfags with btfo as she will barely be in the finale.
Robert Nelson
Steven’s all lost in life and getting dangerous powers plus they’re tiring up a few loose ends
Jacob Adams
uh ohhh OwO spinel's gonna vore him
Austin Bell
>having this level of shit taste
SUF is a deconstruction of Steven's character and SU itself. Outside of the unsurprisingly shit Sadie/Lars episode the show has been kino.
Luke Perry
you mean will user and yes, it will be a great delight. I'm tired of them acting like this character is so important and vital to the show despite not even filling 2 hours worth of screentime.
Asher Gomez
i think im the last spinelfan

any respect Spinelfags had was lost with the channel movie.

Evan Nguyen
there's a lot they could do with characters who aren't Steven. Jasper is gonna get no resolution on these 3 episodes, and if she does it will be super rushed and leaving things in the air. They could make a whole thing about her.
But it is true that SU has gone to shit and has no interest in making genuine good content anymore.
Brandon Turner
Holy fuck, that could actually be kinda good.
Steven's gonna leave Beach City and live as a music hobo forever. Both Conniefags AND Spinelfags BTFO and on suicide watch.
The problem, to put it in perspective, is that the Crewniverse chose the worst moment imaginable to start writing Steven like this. If they wanted to explore his trauma, they should've started earlier. The show just doesn't have conflict anymore, so they turned the main character into the problem in a way that clashes with the previously established writing tremendously.
To cut a long story short, the problem isn't the character study of Steven, it's that this isn't our Steven anymore.

BASED AND JASPERPILLED. Remember in Little Graduation when Steven LITERALLY said "when did this happen? I didn't see any of this"? One of the show's biggest problems is that Steven is the focal point of EVERYTHING, so any and all plot and character development requires his presence at all times. There's so much to develop, but they just don't give a shit with the writing anymore. SU has always been a show with massive potential, but the execution has brought it down at the most important points.
Adrian Cox

this. And so many of the things they are doing should have been in the past. Greg was a static character for 5 seasons and a movie, and now all of a sudden hes kind of a piece of shit that doesn't know how to raise a child? Why put that NOW when there is no time to explore it? Why bring up PTSD if it won't be properly addressed?
Not to mention how we spend 19 episodes giving Steven A LOT of baggage, and we are supposed to be satisfied that all of it is resolved in 11 minutes? Why bring up so much heavy stuff if it will be easily fixed? It's just like shattering, they grabbed something that was a big deal and quickly fixed it, therefore killing any emotional weight it had.
Xavier Torres
I now m3n i fakinn now, was a possibility
but shit... fak m3n
im reaaly sad, i have a DREAM!! (Luther) ajajaja sorry
hopefully one day steven universe, come back
like samurai jack or something like that
to be honest, im lapiven
but I like spinel, her personality
but lapis is cute, tender, shy, strong, and obviously she loves steven, she is waiting for Steven to be an adult
Kayden Rodriguez
They did. They’ve done multiple episodes showing he’s a little fucked up from life.
Isaac Howard
>10 years
So you're a newfag?
Jose Murphy
>The show just doesn't have conflict anymore, so they turned the main character into the problem in a way that clashes with the previously established writing tremendously.
Welcome to PTSD. It comes out in a time of peace and can make the other person look and act unrecognizable. The conflict is the fact that Steven never dealt with his issues in the previous show. It makes perfect sense.
Jaxson Walker
Anyone have the pic of Steven with all the female protagonists of other shows around him?
I know one of you faggots do.
Cameron Roberts
The biggest cope imaginable and one completely out of touch with Future as a whole. You tried though, I'll give you that.
Liam Lopez
This one?
Lucas Ramirez
Nah it just "came out of nowhere" tho. The standard cope for when SU does something that speedwatchers obviously forgot about.
Anthony Brown
>They did. They’ve done multiple episodes showing he’s a little fucked up from life.
>multiple episodes
>multiple
"Multiple episodes" doesn't fucking make up for a poorly thought-out plot. If Steven was going to turn out like this, how did he manage to not only survive all this trauma from his childhood, but channel it into emotional maturity and mental fortitude so powerful that he manage to talk his way into bringing down a galaxy-wide, genocidal dictatorship and NOW he's going through all of this because a few friends are leaving town and he's going through plot convenience puberty? How do you explain the show pulling all of that out of its ass with little to no build-up? We go from everything being perfect in the movie (up until the arrival of Spinel, at least) to Steven being depressed in roughly 6-7 episodes. How the fuck do you mess up writing THAT badly? Well, the Crewniverse's writing methods are to blame, of course, but you shouldn't be eating this up.
This is the same shit everyone tells me whenever I criticize the show. "He has PTSD", "his trauma's getting to him", "he's a kid going through emotional damage", and put it best. Now's NOT the time to do something like this. Is it realistic? Maybe, a little, but it's completely out of touch with the established canon.
>"haha cope"
I spy with my little eye a non-argument.
Exactly. The show just introduces plot points with no buildup and because of that, the show runs completely on plot conveniences.
Jackson Nelson
It might not be the ending everyone wants, but I really don't think it'll be as controversial as SVTFOE's ending was.
Brandon Lopez
Yeah that’s good. Thanks
Tyler Smith
>Exactly. The show just introduces plot points with no buildup and because of that, the show runs completely on plot conveniences.
Pretty sure that user was making fun of you, retard-kun.
Robert Gonzalez
It wasn’t about being mentally strong to counter White, it was compassion. Everything he did throughout the entire series needed him to repress his sadness and anger and pain so he could be the one to help Gems. And this is the aftermath. A person who’s a bit unstable. Like how Donald Duck gets ready to kill after a few loud noises, that’s just PTSD
Luke Johnson
I hope this kill the SUtrannies
Brody Wright
I noticed, but it was a way to explain my point about the show pulling shit out of its ass.
Compassion of that scale takes an incredible amount of mental fortitude, first of all. Also, you're missing the point.
> Everything he did throughout the entire series needed him to repress his sadness and anger and pain so he could be the one to help Gems.
Where was this anger and pain during the series? During the movie? Steven only had like, 3 moments that were ever comparable to Future before it. Also, it takes an INCREDIBLE amount of headcanon and mental gymnastics to even fit those pieces into the narrative because the show itself doesn't bother doing that in its own runtime.
