I love how Doom Eternal included the rip and tear line from this:

sound design is weak and its only cared about for lel epic moments
movement is sluggish its almost laughable
quick time spam is completely disruptive to the gameplay
non responsive enemies when they are being shot at on top of not scaling with the severity of the damage taken
soundtrack is a pile of shit and pales in comparison to that artist's other work
chainsaw being something you need to rely on is also stupid but follows under quicktime events
map designs are meh at best but for the most part extremely linear.
and finally the annoying as fanbase. bad enough its split between non bethesda and bethesda which opens a barrel full of how people who side with bethesda act in public or on social media about the products they consume

Confirmed for never having played Doom II. Doomguy is literally content with letting demons kill him at the end of episode 1 (level 11) after he helped the remaining humans escape to space because he knows he did all he could. He only got back to fighting when survivors informed him there is a way to close the gates and take Earth back.

I won't say I didn't laugh when I wrote that, but actually I was serious. I almost fell asleep while I played old DOOMs right before 2016. I grownup with Quake 3 and UT, and old DOOMs are just too slow to me.
