There are so many Superman costumes to choose from but I decided to go with Frank's iteration. It just resonates for some reason.

I know there are a plethora of Spider-Man costumes to choose from, but I believe that the Spider-Verse costume is the perfect blend of classic and very very minor alterations to make it more "modern" without adding needless black to it.

You can’t beat Joe Shuster’s design

Can we accept Cooke's New Frontier as a substitute if necessary?

That’s literally just the Raimi suit

For comparison

Sorry bro.

no bulge, no dice

No bulge, but still a bitchin Superman costume.

The clearly superior Mr. Incredible costume. The color scheme, the iconography, and the lack of cape, I love it.

Attached: Blue_Mr._Incredible.png (499x1166, 289.64K)

Only if this one is on reserve too

Yeah I can see it.

This isn't my choice for a classic/everyday costume, but go damn is the Justice Lord Superman costume absolutely gorgeous.

Eh... I could never get into it as I could have. I believe it’s mostly the face tho. Pretty unappealing as far as the Timmverse goes.

Would have preferred it a lot more of it looked more like this

it's that he looks like christopher reeve, isn't it you nostalgiafag.

The Black Suit is a costume I adore and unlike many other costumes, there is a massive story component to it. Peter dons this costume when he knows he has to take the kid gloves off. He needs to embody the idea of a superhero predator. He isn't fighting man to man, he's fighting man to spider, and he should scare the everloving fuck out of everyone but the best of the best.

Attached: spider-man black suit.gif (500x717, 288.44K)

I love everything except the cape getting combined with the shield. It just looks ugly like that.

I think it was more of the cloth costume than anything. It looks like something his mom made at the sewing machine and it totally works. Here's another instance of the costume material just looking great in practice.

More cloth costume Spidey

Going to continue with another pic of the Spider-Verse costume.

One more for good measure.

>Catman - Secret Six
While I realize that Catman hasn't had the most variation with regard to costumes, I feel like this one is a unique mix of cartooney yet practical without going the full tacticool route like The Dark Knight Batsuit.

That 75th Anniversary special all had better faces desu

While I do adore this costume I still find this Mignola interpretation a gem. Shame it's in Black and White but I feel like it's pretty obvious which areas should be colored what. It looks like we got the classic oval and an oversized belt. COuple that with the short earts and flowing cape and you got a sexy as Batsuit.

Attached: review_bbwmm2_large.jpg (800x1204, 93.41K)

Black Cat with her fur, straight up iconic

He'd just post Christopher Reeve then retard.

If you say anything besides Romita or black suit you're a fucking secondary.

I did mention the black suit. I just think the Spider-Verse costume is probably the best modern costume we've gotten in a while.

Attached: Backinblack.jpg (600x915, 249.64K)

Tim may not be everyone’s favorite, but B:TAS gave whom the best Robin suit period

Best thing to come out of ASBAR

Nice choice.

I know I"m by no means an expert on Pym's Ant Man costumes but this one really speaks to me.

Attached: Ant_man_1.png (433x594, 69K)

It’s essentially the original Ant-Man suit, which makes it kino

If I'm going the Scott Lang route, I thought about going with the FF Fraction costume but decided to go with Spencer's iteration. I know it may seem a bit modern but god damn is it sexy.

Attached: ITwtwdS.jpg (1600x1280, 762.06K)

in my opinion, it’s just not as appealing/iconic as the Hank Pym suit

future foundation suit looks cool too

Attached: future foundation spider.jpg (1200x800, 85.77K)

The suit does not need "modernization" even Ditko's conception did not need to be "modernized" I just prefer the way Romita drew the eyes and the fingers.

Definitely not, but I think for Scott it's more than appropriate. At least more than this one (which I still enjoy).

Attached: FF_Vol_2_16_Textless.jpg (792x1200, 403.18K)

True that's a great costume

Listen, I'm not trying to take anything away from the classic costume. I just trying to emphasize that for non cape familiar audiences, they need a slight adjustment to costumes to make them acceptable and the classic Ditko cloth costume just doesn't resonate. I still love it, I truly do, but I also appreciate how they have tried to adjust the classic costume to be the tiniest bit more approachable to audiences while retaining as many classic elements as possible (which the Spider-Verse costume fucking nails).
>I'm more of a Romita fan as I think the underarm webs are superfluous but I know that may be a controversial opinion.

Attached: F816823F-D775-4E8A-9DB3-80CB0D7F195C.jpg (2000x2931, 351.31K)

I appreciate what it brings to the table but for some odd reason it just doesn't do anything for me. Different strokes for different folks.

Spock's first costume was leagues better than his followup. It retained the classic feel but had more than enough small changes to make it entirely its own.
>Black and red color scheme.
>Significantly more aggressive posture.
>Enlarged goggles/lens.
>Separated arms and legs from main torso.
>More pointed/aggressive webbing pattern (sharper lines).
>Built in gadgets beyond simple webshooters.
>Talons withing the gloves and boots.
It's just so god damn sexy

Same suit, different artist. So goddamn good looking.

Hitch's Hawkman design was a step in the right direction if you ask me

Romita with underarm webs. I'm torn.

Last cloth Spidey costume.

That's not the Neal Adams suit.

In live action I get it because without a thicker material the costume doesn't look right, but it's inexcusable in animation

That's the second design.
Here is the original one.

I'm honestly torn on which logo I like more. It's like choosing between children.

What the fuck;s wrong with his shoulders?

For movie suits I have to say ASM 2 was my favorite
If we're allowing alternates my favorite Futuristic Spidey suit will always be Unlimited

Attached: Spider-Man Unlimited.png (283x518, 32.95K)

My man! I thought I was the only one who preferred the first Superior suit.

Bunch of preteen faggots in this thread

yeah i think i prefer it to the original

looks better with the oval

Looking at pic related chart, my ideal cloth & trunks outfit would be...

> Take 2005
> Give it 2000/2001a's dark shimmery trunks
> Give it 2007a's cape
> Give it silver cuffs like the 1st Rebirth suit (not on this chart)

Attached: hZ26lhM.jpg (5000x4312, 3.37M)

Attached: Y5YqWup.jpg (3016x2133, 1.21M)

Attached: CfABHAn.jpg (1280x1242, 239.43K)

This is perfection.

Just looking at the comic outfits...
> 1 > 5 > 6 > 8 > 2

On the movie suits I would put 15 & 16 as basically being equals for their own reasons.

15 has much better more authentic scales and texturing & I love the detail and complexity, it has a much better headpiece.

16 has better colors both the suit and her hair, better cleavage, people who prefer simpler suits will like this one.
