The first few pages of the Rheingold comic depict events with Wotan and the Norns which happen before the events of the operas--they are never shown on stage, but are instead narrated in the prologue to the last opera, in a scene that's very static visually but very dense musically, and thus hard to render as a comic.

Hello, Storyteller.

Last night was fun, looking forward to more literally operatic shenanigans.

How's everyone holding up?

Worldcon (scheduled for Wellington, NZ, at the end of July) announced that they're switching to a virtual convention this year. So following various comments about that has been "fun".

I'm so pissed I'm going to miss like half of this because I still have to go to work tomorrow, even got a letter I have to drive with since Texas is shut down

>people are mad the organizers are doing the responsible thing
Typical. Still got a bunch of spring breakers over here pretending like what they're doing is brave.

Sorry, time got away from me--hitting play at 6:10

Make it as far as you can and then keep the thread open because it'll be up until tomorrow afternoon? :D

Yeah, the upside is that I literally cannot do any of my job on a closed campus despite me still having to be there, so I'll have plenty of time to catch up. May be a good time for me to renew my Met on demand sub anyway.
