Charles had powers to help him, but in a world where mutants are prosecuted, they're also the reason why he had to struggle so much more than others.

Doom's whole speech makes a strawman out of mutants. It's less about them wanting to be better than others (though we do have people like Magneto), but more about ensuring their survival and keeping their hopes up in a world that constantly hates them no matter what they do.

Doom has kinda failed to understand why the diplomatic immunity thing is in place. Which is typical Doom - great at extrapolating and building upon his ideas, but wrong in the most fundamental elements of thinking that make those ideas worthy or correct. 7/10 well enough written, whoever's on this at least gets Doom.

Doom is immune to Magneto because the writers wanted to have an interaction between Magneto and Doom that wasn't hilariously one-sided like any fight between Magneto and a person with any kind of metal on them would be.
