Here's what will happen

>He'll destroy little homeworld and a few nameless background gems and maybe poof one of the main ones (amethyst maybe?)
>Some shit happens that gets him back to normal and he cools down and leaves beach city, not in a way to where he'll never see them again (they'll bring up the fact he can text them all) but just in a way where it's like a well needed break.
>We'll see a montage of the gems coping without Steven, shifting it away from his perspective fully.
There won't be a bad ending or a cliffhanger. It'll be the typical slightly bittersweet endings SU always has.

The Steven we always saw was a mix of Greg genetics with what Pink created a Rose Quartz genetic makeup to Look like. But his Pink mode is more and more resembling what he would have looked like if she designed the genetics that mixed with Greg’s genes to represent her true Diamond self.

This pissed me off about Homeward Bound. I was expecting the Diamonds to notice how alike his tantrums are to Pink's and perhaps comment on this and chat with him. To be fair, they may have been thinking it but not wanted to say it.
They still don't understand most of her anger, but think their poor reactions to it and dismissal are why she did everything she did.
White at least knows that connecting Steven to Pink is a sore spot by his Gem side’s reaction. She probably knew saying out loud that his frustration was like her breaking windows and unleashing havoc would be a bad move if she wanted to maintain a relationship.
