Now these days they're making episodes apologizing to al gore for previous mockery and supporting the establishment like hillary clinton.

Not really. They've progressively gone from making fun primarily of conservatives (even though the first season were much less political) to making fun primarily of liberals. I think they still libertarian, but definitely more conservative than before.
