A huge fatfuck guy (300 lbs +) in the chicago comicon artist alley that looked like a 35 year old virgin had about 100 original drawings of bare breasts of every major comic female superhero, and would draw the breasts of any character your requested for $100. It was cringey and creepy, I couldnt believe such blatant nudity was not taken out of there with little kids walking around.

I remember seeing them at a Connecticon not too long after that whole #changethechannel thing. Don't think I saw much more then maybe ten people at their booth they had in the special guest area at any given time.

I can't think of anything cringier then just GOING to a convention.

They did put out two things regarding it but even with that the whole #changethechannel movement dissipated like a fart in the wind not too long after for some other fad movement.

I volunteered at at con once and did crowd control for Chandler Riggs (this was about 5 years ago). We corralled a bunch of people (including many 20+ year old women) into a room and lined them up.

Rigg's people warned us about grown women trying to do pervy shit and to not hesitate to call security.

Cosplay’s fun to look at. Hell, you don’t even have to be that good at it for people to come up asking for pictures and complimenting you, and for the most part, they’re pretty cool. Just normies with hobbies. Panels are cool too sometimes, might get a first look at a new TV show or movie. And I’m into collecting stuff, so finding shit you’re looking for in the merch sections can be a miracle sometimes.

I enjoy cosplaying, going to panels and getting some stuff signed. Though Comic Con's appeal has been wearing me down since the last couple years nothing really interested me on the show floor or panels.
