Is it just me, or is anyone else disappointed that Spinel returned to being annoying and out of touch like she was when reset in the movie? I really wanted to see her be a considerate and caring, comforting friend to Steven. Instead she was an annoying Looney Toons character that never once could understand that all she was doing was annoying Steven. The kiss, the mention of her trying to kill him in a joking matter, her being pretentious about feeling ALL BETTER with the Diamonds and not seeing how Steven was not in a good state at any point during the episode, her not asking how Steven was doing after he asked her the same thing, her still being clingy as shit, her singing a terrible rendition of change when Steven actually asked her for advice rather than offer advice... there’s no reason why she can’t be a fun loving character while also being able to turn off that part of her when needed. Is it any surprise that Steven wasn’t being very friendly to her? Maybe he would have if he was in a stable mood, but the kid’s on the verge of becoming a monster. It’s not a surprise as to how Steven acted towards her.
I don’t like Spinel anymore and I’m not gonna be upset if she never returns. Maybe this is what I get for not realizing that she’d become retarded again in her next appearance because the Diamonds would be okay with it.

Also Stevinel, unless they have an emotional moment together before the series ends where they don’t hate each other or are annoying, is dead.
