This show got the characterizations so much more accurate than any of the love action movies.

Was janet gonna start a relationship with tony?
It was a fantastic show cut too short
No because she doubled down on loving Hank's crazy ass
>love action movies
Awww yeah
It captured that Saturday morning action cartoon vibe so well and was Marvel's JLU. I don't even care that it got cancelled and replaced. It's just a shame that every cartoon since then has either been shit or mediocre.
pretty much the only Marvel cartoon that's as good as the average DC cartoon. I'm not a company wars guys I just wish Marvel had higher standards with this shit
Best Janet
Best Hank
Best Carol
>Marvel's JLU
But not nearly as good
Ughh this is the second time I made this same mistake with this same word starting a thread.
Do we know what would have happened if Man of Action hadn’t taken over?
Agreed. Avengers Assemble and all of the other subsequent Marvel cartoons were pale, pale imitations of this one's potential.
If only the proto-Marvel Animated Universe hadn't been fucked over in the 90s...
>a good chunk of the EMH cast reprise their roles in Ultimate Alliance 3
Legit one of the best Marvel cartoons next to Spectacular Spidey. The Skrull storyline was great, and this show had a phenomenal Ultron.
marvel porno
Best Clint too
i was disappointed that they didn't get a separate va for the thing. it's weird that i don't mind steve blum having multiple roles.
Reminder that the band that did the theme were rapists
The Kree two-parter was supposed to be the actual season finale, for one.
Years earlier, but I loved that the same happened for Marvel vs Capcom 3.
same for marvel heroes. the voice director did a good job getting most of the well known va's.
That show did a pretty good job with the casting in the first place.
>movie that came before the live action movies got big has more to do with the comics than the live action movies
who knew
They put Jeph Loeb in charge of the cartoons and lo and behold, he's creatively bankrupt and basically ruined any chance of the cartoons being big with kids.
I wonder if the Endgame Quantum suits looking so much like the EMH space suits is a nod to this show. The Rescue armor is blue/purple/bluish purple like in Armored Adventures as well.
Fuck Loeb for sticking his dick in it.
For reals, I hate Janet and this cartoon made me love the charcter.
It came before most of the MCU movies except Iron Man and Iron Man 2 and it was made because of the MCU movies. It's also why Tony in that cartoon has a very RDJish voice.
Bruce Banner also looked somewhat like Edward Norton and the Hulk was all muscley and humanoid like in the Incredible Hulk and not apelike like Avengers and beyond.
The MCU is mostly harmless to me, but the biggest crime is that we'll never see Hank/Jan at the forefront again, we'll never seen this Janet again ever, and we'll never see carny Barton.
>that time Hulk said "assemble" and they fight Red Hulk
This show had soul. Much more than any mcu flick.
i rarely read Marvel comics and was surprised when i found who was Red Hulk.
>10 years old show
that's Fred Tatasciore who does the Thing in EMH.
I dunno i wasn't big on Hulk and Thing having the same VA, could've always been a budgetary thing, they did have a lot of VAs already in the show as is.
Steve Blum as Thing could work ngl.
the quality drop in marvel shows is stunning
who cares, kids lap up anything with Disney logo.
Well it turns out they really didn't, the only one left is the Spider-Man one and everything points out that it's only running to advertise the new toys, and even then it's banking on Venom who moves plenty of merch on his own.
i'm just explaining this retarded mindset you dont need to put effort to sell stuff, just use popular brand.
>venom is popular with kids
wait, what?
>Avengers: EMH
>Spectacular Spiderman
>TRON Uprising
>TransFormers Animated
Why the fuck did the late2000s/early2010s have such fucking good action cartoons, that all got cancelled early, at around the same exact time? What the fuck?
>the virgin Pratt CopeLord vs. the Chad Downes StarChief
Jesus Christ, you guys are contrarians. You telling me Iron Man 1, TWS, Ant-Man didn't have soul?
Executive meddling
This show was only good for one season.
>play UA3
>tfw I hear Steve Blum as Green Goblin
>phenomenal Ultron
I'm not too sure about that. Ultron being an emotionless Skynet is shit. The entire point of Ultron is that he's Hank's brat son throwing a fit because Daddy doesn't love him.
the thing will always be more interesting than hulk.
God I loved this version of their relationship. Hulk just loves that Grimm is the only person besides Thor he can roughhouse with and Thor doesn't have a sense of humor so it's always "Grimm? Lets WRASSLE!"
Well that's just like, your opinion, man
execs decided super heroes are dumb kiddy shit even after all parents proved otherwise.
I dont get it either.
I have to say that I like the MCU version of "To Steal an Ant-Man" more than the one from the show.
I don't know if it's because I haven't watched the show in quite a bit, but I liked the MCU version of Stark over the show. I remember thinking the cartoon version being unremarkable.
Well, they basically just tried to copycat RDJ
Even still, this show wasn't like 'ugh, we're stuck with Hulk being on the team' like many comics, movies and other cartoons which then throw him to the wayside. They were more like 'hey, we have Hulk on the team! let's make the most out of it.'
Their Hulk had a lot of character as a result instead of being the stock Hulk seen everywhere. He even had a sense of humor.
i feel like the show expected you to already know who Iron Man was cause of the movie, so he didn't need as much focus.
same. I liked that episode a lot but MCU Scott Lang is just more fun and memorable, it's mostly cause of Paul Rudd's charisma.
kids love venom. he's cool. plus the ones who gravitate to comics usually like the violent stuff earlier.
I love the Russo films, but hate what they did to Hulk
Of course smartass monster hulk is the patrician choice. But it was good to do iconic rage monster for a bit for general movie audiences, and I liked Professor Hulk.
More than unremarkable the EMH Stark was more like comics Stark mixed with the Ultimates/MCU version without the Starkwanking.
>'Tony, stop you are going to fuck it up!'
>'I won't fuck it up!'
>*fucks it up*
>'Aghhh this stupid shit, it fucked itself.'
>'Move Tony, let's help you unfuck this up.'
Because comics Tony was always fucking shit up and not always able of solving everything by himself like the MCU version.
Professor Hulk was them saying "We don't know what to do with Hulk so let's just do Mark Ruffalo in CG"
