The gem thing is an interesting premise, but the SJW plot makes it horrible. All the conflict in this series is about dumb shit like being "nice" and "respectful" and that you should defeat fascism,authoritarianism, and even abusive relationships by having a nice talk with the abusers. In life there are going to be people so far gone mentally that the only way to defeat them is to punch them in the face, it's sad that it has to be that way, but its idealistic to think otherwise.

Seasons one through three had nothing wrong with them aside from a few shitty filler episodes. The show was at it's lowest quality wise in seasons four and five but the movie and Future are so good they have redeemed it.
