every episode is pretty much movie quality animation, the budget had to be insane.

Great series, frustrating continuity. And towards the end it dips severely. Around the time Caesar shows up, they just start doing random shit and towards the end it all goes to hell. The last few episodes (seasons) really suck. But I will still always remember the good parts

I liked it, but as always it was too goofy and cliche. Just like Teen Titans, it was good, but not good enough, not great. The comedy episodes were ehh and the drama too.
Rex even stopped having those Ben 10 "power outtages" and "running away from home" stuff past episode 13. The "feeling betrayed and used by everyone" also ended in the same episode Noah revealed he was working for White.
However it's interesting ... all action cartoons do comedy sitcom episodes infinitely better than most comedy cartoons.

Rex had actually been with Providence for less than a year in the first episode, he just got drawn like a little kid in the flashback episode for whatever reason. Six waited because One's condition was mostly stable, he needed the agreement of the other numbers and Rex had to prove himself first.

I didnt really liked the special, the whole six being in comma was dumb, the way alpha was defeated with cannonball doesnt make any sense and we didnt get to see any ben10 character outside of ben which as you said stayed in the background throwing insults.

The saturday x omniverse crossover was so much better, all the saturday did something and we got to see villians teaming up. Way more things happened in half the time.
