This shitshow just got good for the first time in its run .
"I bow to your strength, my diamond ."
I hope they fuck
They already have offscreen
Does she join his mommy harem?
they fucked so hard he shattered her
It just got worse
She only need 4 first seasons of shit
She practically needed her program to end to get it right
Season 5, movie and Steven Universe Future
The only redeemable
Did she do these few episodes right just to shit on us ?
I think Rebecca was never smart enough to understand that her show would ever end
In 4 fucking seasons I never explain shit
She was able to explain everything in 6 years, 1,2,3,4 seasons, but not ...
A shame
Faggot
S5 was garbage
You want to try that again and not sound like a retard?
It has two mediocre episodes and that's it. The problem was the pacing, not the content.
Would have worked if he had defeated her instead of fucking killing and revived her. They made death irrelevant for fuck sake.
Hell, wouldn’t that make Jasper not want to respect him? He killed her but didn’t have the balls to live with that so he brings her back. She sees helping enemies as weak, and what Steven did just now should be the biggest pussy act of all on her book.
I think most of Future has been pretty great. Seasons four and five were the only ones I didn't like.
To me it makes sense after all she respects power above all except her diamond .
She's gonna get a fetish for being shattered from this isn't she? Must be a mess inside Jasper's head by now.
Dewey Wins, Gemcation, Sadie Killer, Kevin Party, Lars and the Stars, The Big Show, Letters to Lars, Made of Honor, Escapism = all mediocre. The rest was meh with the same amount of good episodes as the other seasons. Diamond Days were a really disappointing string of episodes overall to me.
>steven went from buff as fuck back to his normal self in the span of a few seconds
what a fucking shame
I wish he would have stayed with his normal design, I want to see normal Steven act aggressive with diamond eyes like that. When I look at Evil Steven's hair all I see is a more floofier version of Barbara's hair.
The pompadour makes him look more alpha
I know she respects power but she also has to respect how they exert that power. Jasper has always known Steven was strong, she just didn't like him because he hid his power. Garnet beat Jasper and she still didn't respect her, it's not as simple as "you are stronger than me so I automatically respect you".
But not anymore I guess. That's gone, alongside the consequences of shattering.
thats because steven stopped being the son of her mother "rose quartz form", right now he truly is becoming pink diamond son, all thanks to being hit with the rejuvinator.
he is getting his jewfro back soon, not now though...but we are slowly getting there.
Nah, if anything this gets her more wet. He has complete control over her, she doesn’t even get to die anymore, he can leave her shattered for thousands of years then bring her back on a whim. She is nothing to him.
fuck off with your dumb ass theory
As it's been said in the show. Garnet is a fusion and it was a two on one fight. And she didn't like steven because he only managed to defeat her while fused.
Beating her all by himself and showing the clear difference in power is something Jasper would respect.
She respected Lapis too
>Beating her all by himself and showing the clear difference in power is something Jasper would respect.
That, yes, but killing her and brining her back is not the same as that. For strength obsessed characters like her, killing someone and reviving them is the ultimate pussy movie. Its the equivalent of throwing a super strong punch and then apologizing for it. They are strong enough to do the action but not strong enough to finish what they started.
Which is why it would have worked fine if Steven had brutally beaten her instead of shattering her. If he had done that, then it would make perfect sense why she would kneel to him and we wouldn't have to throw away the closest thing to death for the gems that there is.
Jasper needs a safeword.
>Pretending like Jasper doesn’t have fantasies of being killed and revived over again like some bizarre Valhalla
Yeah I don't see that, Homeworld respected and feared Rose's unique ability to heal gems. Reviving a shattered gem would probably be impressive to Jasper even putting aside how he stomped her ass into the ground and has the gem of the person she was made to serve.
The only reason she didn't respect Garnet was because to her Garnet is Ruby and Sapphire "cheating" and they wouldn't be able to beat her on their own. She gradually came to respect Steven AND his more caring nature over the course of the episode because he showed he could improve himself and fight without anyone coddling him and was able to overpower her by the end
>does exactly what she asks and goes all out in a sparring match, literally shattering her
>casually brings her back from the dead, just so she can acknowledge just how thoroughly she was fucked
He wasn't even trying to kill her, she was simply too weak to take all of him. For Jasper "please dominate my aching gempussy" Quartzslut, this would make him a god in her eyes
I know I'm making a mistake, thinking about this like it's a show made by a man, buuut: if the plot required Steven earn the respect and loyalty of the local planetbuster equivalent...what are they going to have to face later?
>For strength obsessed characters like her, killing someone and reviving them is the ultimate pussy movie.
That's dumb though. He held his life in her hands, and she's only still in existence because he willed it. She only exists because of his will, even though he's proven himself powerful enough to end her. That shows Jasper that he is a Diamond.
Muh feelings. It will always be muh feelings.
>Homeworld respected and feared Rose's unique ability to heal gems
That was never stated. Homeworld hated Rose because she was different and because she "killed" her diamond. They did not respect her at all, and could not care less of her healing ability.
>Reviving a shattered gem would probably be impressive to Jasper
If she doesn't even like Steven healing a tree, why would she find respectful that he can revive anyone he hurts? It basically makes him a warrior that can fight his entire life without ever permanently harming or shattering anyone. Even if the day comes where Steven absolutely has to murder 100 gems to save his planet, he can come out of it reviving everyone he killed, making his actions not have a permanent effect. Jasper is a soldier who lived in a war where people died, and then this boy comes out of nowhere and can live his entire life without actually killing anyone. I just feel like they have presented her as someone who hates so much everything that is not violence that I would assume she wouldn't respect anyone who can live their life healing every punch they blow.
I mean I can kinda see that aspect of her bowing down to someone who can kill and revive at will, and she probably could lose that respect once she finds out he isn't the type of person who is going to do that ever again. But this is a gem who has dealt with death and killing her entire life, having someone "disrespect" shattering seems like something she would hate. She hates pacifistic and safe gems who never hurt anyone. She was someone who got mad at the first episode when steven apologized for a single punch. Now he revives her and apologizes for it and..this time she doesn't care?
youre looking at it wrong. the win condition was never shattering her. She just wanted him to beat her, and he did. She shattered not because he intended it, but because she couldn't handle his throbbing diamond cock. It's like asking someone to hit you as hard as they can, thinking at worst they can only knock the wind out of you, and then they end up caving in your chest. They aren't apologizing for anything by patching you up, they're offering you a second chance to not be such a weakling.
It’s all about power to her, look at the other Diamonds, you think they respect shattering? Hell, no, made goddamn zombies. But they’re strong. And that’s all she needs, someone with power and control over her
>They aren't apologizing for anything by patching you up, they're offering you a second chance to not be such a weakling.
Except he literally starts apologizing and crying the second she reforms.
she respected the Diamonds because she was instructed, just like every other gem, that their way of life was the only one acceptable, and anyone who thinks differently is a freak that deserves to die. Now that she knows it was all a lie, I bet she doesnt like the Diamonds anymore. They are still super powerful gods, but they bend the knee based on pure emotion, not strength.
Guess we’ll have to see what she thinks of the others I guess.
Eyeball talked about her ability with reverence
>There were rumors back during the war that Rose Quartz could *heal* her Crystal Gem soldiers, keeping her small army in contention with the superior forces of Homeworld.
and to me she was implying she attributed the success of the rebellion solely to her healing ability, and Jasper too said she respected Rose's tactics. The Diamonds had nothing but contempt for Rose Quartz but soldiers POV are a little different. Healing is a tool, a powerful tool that shouldn't be used for healing worthless organic life.
yeah well blue can't say two sentences without crying. I guess diamonds are excused from the "crying makes you a bitch faggot" category if they can also grind you to dust
But Eyeball hated Rose Quartz and did not see her in the same light Jasper did. And even Jasper's line about tactics was never fully explored so she could really have been talking about anything. And even if you want to go for the angle that they see healing as a tool to survive a battle, that falls apart when Steven was crying and apologizing the second she came back. It's not like Steven killed her and brought her back because he felt like it, it was just as he was in the first episode: going too far and doing something "cool" by accident, then ruining that action by feeling bad about it.
>diamonds are excused from the "crying makes you a bitch faggot" category if they can also grind you to dust
We never got to see Jasper ever respecting Blue Diamond in that sense though. For all we know, Jasper has only met Yellow Diamond, and she pretended that she didn't care. Finding out Yellow was a crybaby bitch probably made Jasper disgusted and lost all respect on her. She knew from the beginning of Future that Steven was the son of her Diamond, so she already knew he could grind her into dust. She still didn't respect him because he did shit with it.
>She knew from the beginning of Future that Steven was the son of her Diamond, so she already knew he could grind her into dust
she clearly didn't if she was surprised to be shattered
>s5
???
Nah, man, I've been conditioned by lots of shows aimed at boys: if the good guys befriended a bad guy, that means some serious shit's coming up that REQUIRES them to have befriended the bad guy to even stand a chance.
It was training and she didn't know he could let go that much. Jasper on those fights never tried to kill Steven or permanently fuck him up. When people in training say "give me everything you got" they don't mean "literally try to kill me, go all out like a savage", they mean "punch me as hard as you can without actually wanting to kill me".
>what are they going to have to face later?
who cares? Any enemy that shows up later won't matter because shattering can be healed now. If some super strong enemy comes out and shatters the main 3 crystal gems, it's ok because the other characters can put them all together in the bathroom and heal them with the four Diamond juices (or just Stevens tears, its not clear yet). There are no stakes left.
This. The only eps that felt well written imo were Legs from here to Homeworld and CYM. Still an improvement over Season 4, which had no standout eps imo.
>did the same mistake as Lapis but didn't stop in the last moment
Except, it wasn't good at all.
Shit, that's hot.
ah shit of course
Ship
She didn't respect yellow diamond much from the beginning considering she abandoned the cluster mission she was given by yd just to go on her own personal quest for revenge against Rose. In earthlings she implied she only followed her to feel like less of a failure after pink was shattered. In future she tells steven that without anyone to follow and no purpose to fulfill all she has left is her power, she wanted more than anything for Steven to become worthy of her respect so that she could finally have another person to devote her life to. This onviously isn't a healthy mindset for her to have though so i hope her issues with her low self worth and broken identity will be resolved along with Steven's before the show is over.
>That painting
Spinel seems like the sort of woman who'd let you crack beer can on her head, drink from it, then get fucked in the bathroom of club.
So Lapis can ignore it in a show of power, right?
Of course. The more cruel and dominant you are towards her the more she wants you to pound her pussy.
Killing her and bringing her back was the ultimate demonstration of dominance in her eyes. Steven showed he had the power of life and death in his hands. In him, Jasper finally found her diamond and god.
so Jasper is confirmed a bottom right? also a huge masochyst
about as "confirmed" as everything else in this series
