Relying on Disney to get them through this while simultaneously throwing retailers under the bus.

They're winning. And DCfags are seething. Just as usual.

DC doesn't even know how to stop being #2.

Dying in irrelevance, mostly.

DYING WHILE DC
IS THRIVING

Being an useless IP farm

DC didn't announce any crisis measures though, Jim Lee is clearly in over his head here.

Company War deflection

>B-BUT DC!
Everytime.

Nothing. Fat faggot cebulski tweeted about restaurants before comics and jim lee is being a useless faggot ass manbaby and doing nothing about this.

Legit hope both get coronavirus and die.

I got a chuckle that it was about sushi, mostly because of how much of a weeb he is, but also because where I live there are sushis everywhere and nobody will notice any culling.

Finally trashing on Diamond like they should have twenty years ago

>diamond
They aren't tho.

Hopefully Marvel does nothing. I admit I'm being petty and spiteful, but it's informed by the years spent in mid-sized publishing. Any time publishers have asked for help from DM retailers, it was met with blunt apathy and smug edicts to pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps. "It's not a charity" and "it's your job to get people into our stores" were common refrains in those private industry message boards of yore. These people kept silent when Diamond raised their order minimums that killed smaller independents. These people ceded manga sales to bookstores willingly. These people fought digital sales for years and forced you all to pay the same price for digital downloads for many years more.
Let it all burn and work with what sprouts from the ashes.

I hope that fat faggot dies this week. I hope jim lee hangs himself by an Ethernet cable.

Retailers are those that prop the system up, without the retailers diamond will fall like the bloated shit it is. I look forward to that

>MUH DC IS WINNING
>MUH MARVEL IS WINNING
Shit lads, nobody is fucking winning in this shitshow.

I legit hope your faggot ass dies. Go tweet this shit out word for word so I drag your face against the asphalt in fucking public.

I am SO fucking sick of you whiny faggots. Your comics probably fucking suck. And I would damn near guarantee it's probably manga style art.

The virus is

Nah, not even Corona-chan is, she has to swim through the filth of these chuckle fucks.

>kill the world to see one man die
Nah. I'd rather just see the one man brutally murdered.

>t-they didn't help me sell my shitty American mangos so now I hope they go out of business.

Post your comic faggot.

Retailers everyone

>"talent"
this is becoming the "allies" of art circles.

>Nah. I'd rather just see the one man brutally murdered.
You have to get rid of his bodyguards before you can target the man itself
Also
>the world
Lmao LCSes are more irrelevant than ever, especially mom and pop LCSes. When this ends all of them will be replaced by the large chain stores, or nothing at all. Not a lot of non-chain bookstores will survive this in general

Snoygers are also Marveldrones? What a surprise!

I don't own a store faggot I shop at one. Unlike vultures like you who want to sell in LCSs for credibility but want them to burn because you steal mangoes and comics.

>I'm here to shit in LCSs
Leave then. This isn't the thread. You're a faggot who refuses public confrontation and came here to act tough. You're a spineless faggot. I'd kill you with a fucking pubic hair.

I see a blue check mark.
I know the person is probably Satan.

>lmao
Go back to Mexico you smelly ass spic nobody cares about your shitty comics.

Ok badass marine, what’s next, gonna post your uniform?

>irrelevant
Lol and anything that isn't sold in stores is even more irrelevant. CGfags are such clowns.

>digital
Numbers are fucking atrocious over the last decade. Zero growth. Why pay when you can pirate. Floppies and trades are worth paying for as if proven literally weekly.

The pasta you're invoking is a seal. Post your comic, spic. Post your twitter. Go say this faggotry in a public space. Put your name and face to it faggot.

>Numbers are fucking atrocious over the last decade
I wonder why is that so? Could it be the fact that it’s the same goddamn price as the physical copies to save those poor poor LCSs?

>can't even meme
CGfags are the dumbest spics to ever leave Mexico.

>what is subscription
>what are 99cent sales
>trades for 5 dollars
Nobody buys digital because it's a rental. Until they give you a PDF you OWN nobody will buy digital.

Beyond that none of the reasons have to do with comic shops. You can't recoup cost undercharging. A single issue of a comic costs a fuck ton to make, casuals like you don't know this however.

Filth is mothers milk to a plague, user.
Coronachan loves filth, I mean really.

This is the type of stupid shitskin that thinks ebooks outsell physical lol. Digital in all publishing has been shown to be FAR less viable than ever thought.

>A single issue of a comic costs a fuck ton to make
Because Diamond takes a bite and decides who gets to peddle the leftovers. It's a giant circle-jerk that ends with either every mom and pop store gone or diamond dead, there's no alternative.

>I wonder why is that so
ESLfag can't into English.

I was speaking of production costs you stupid smelly Mexican. You completely missed the point that I was saying you can't make money back on undercharging for digital comics.

People like you have devalued issues so much. If you sincerely think comics should be sold for 99 cents each you're flat out retarded. Individual issues cost nearly 20K for a SMALL print run. Art is 100-200 a page, writers are 25-50, letterers, colorists. This is all before printing or distribution of any kind.

You clearly have NEVER made a serious comic yet wanted LCSs to carry your trash?

>These people ceded manga sales to bookstorres winllingly

Source?

>Because Diamond takes a bite and decides who gets to peddle the leftovers.
Not at all. Disney and ATT have the money and subsidiaries to do it themselves without diamond. They just don't want any more financial risk.

Diamond isn't "choosing" anything they cower to the big 2.

He's an idiot. Beyond the fact that many comic shops sell manga now he also doesn't understand ordering, upfront costs and financial risk.

Like every other brown kid who watched an MCU movie and said "I want to make that."

A circle jerk is a mutual admiration society. Learn what the things you're saying mean, Pedro.

Kek, Cebulski being passive aggressive, in response Simeti just bitchslaps him.

Does Peter not understand Supply and Demand?

There's filth, and there's the shit that is probably in these san fran fucks blood, honestly, aids would be the least of her issues going through that shit.

Supply and demand has absolutely nothing to do with this, dumbass. Why do people like you try to speak in business terms?

The threads are always filled with crowdsourcing retards who don't seem to understand pricing and ordering in the industry.

Notice how all those faggots charge 20 an issue and yet somehow don't understand why digital comics aren't sold for 99 cents. They aren't having a bunch of simps pay a ten times mark up to cover bill-ables and overhead.

It's just full in autism to not understand that comics, physical or digital, HAVE to have a floor price of 2-3 an issue to be even come close to being viable.

Brick and mortar stores are dying grandpa and I hope you live long enough to see it.

>I-i love being a corporate cocksucker for Amazon
Disgusting, frankly. You kids are such faggots. Imagine thinking a 28 year old sounds like grandpa simply because he doesn't suck Bezo's dick.

Only spics think "oh hey look esé it arrived on my doorstep" is worth destroying the global economy over. And it's because your piece of shit parents raised you like thieves.

I think digital and online retail are the future. And by the future I mean they have been the most viable thing for literally everyone for decades now. I have zero love for brick and mortar and think anyone that does is so far behind the times they probably think the best way to spend their time is churning butter. Give one good reason why brick and mortar is worth shit when all it does is make shit more expensive?

>destroying the global economy
Why do people with single digit IQs post on the internet? I don't get it.

>DC didn't announce any crisis measures though
They DID fire DilDio...
That should both get them out of an earlier crisis and get him to stop publishing Crisises no one asked for.

>It's just full in autism to not understand that comics, physical or digital, HAVE to have a floor price of 2-3 an issue to be even come close to being viable
At the current demand. If you raised the number of buyers you could lower costs but nobody wants to do that because 1) Nobody apparently has the magic comicbook formula that will draw in all those manga kiddies and 2) even if somebody did they wouldn't lower their prices because they'd want all that extra cash. Don't piss down my neck and tell me it's rain, plenty of other businesses have chased market percentages right into bankruptcy and comicbook publishing isn't special.

Did spics rape your dog or something? Spics aren’t the ones mass ordering from amazon

>Source?
You're literally asking me about things that happened 20, 25 years ago. I can't give you a source beyond my own memory. But there was a time when Viz published floppies. Never got traction because comic shops were wary of black and white stuff after the crash, and never ordered more than pre-orders. That means nothing on display.
Then Tokyopop and Viz came out with DVD-sized trades. Most comic shops refused to carry those too, because their racks were only set up to handle pamphlet sizes.
On top of that, Diamond didn't have a book distribution business back then. They didn't offer warehousing services. Diamond doesn't cut a re-order until they gather a certain amount from retailers, which means sometimes the order never gets cut. FM and Coldcut would fill those, but they perished in the 2000s.
So all the manga publishers took their stuff to the book trade market. The comic shops that actually carry manga in depth nowadays, probably do so through a traditional book distributor.

Just so you know, you're arguing with completely different posters, and this is the extent of my involvement in your rage dumps.

They kinda do

>If you raised the number of buyers you could lower costs but nobody wants to do that because
>If you raised the number of buyers
>nobody wants to do that because
This is the dumbest shit ever uttered. dead up. I'm sure you think "Don't piss down my neck and tell me it's rain" is brilliant but that's literally what you've just done.

Devaluing product does not increase sales or income. Go back to community college autist. Let the actual graduates discuss business.

No but they're the ones retarded enough to think it means the rest of the economy can burn.
