It was just there. Like there was nothing actively bad about it but there wasnt anything I liked about it either. Just kinda boring.

Also I remember thinking the camp counseler got shit on too hard. Sort of a tom and jerry situation where after a while you root for the antag and think the protag(s) are little shits. I didnt watch often though so maybe I just saw bad episodes. But I never had a desire to see more than I did.

I haven't watched Camp Lazlo in years; admittedly, my memory of it is hazy, and while I don't necessarily think it was a bad show, it does feel like discount Spongebob to me.

Not super familiar with Samples but we also got some classic cartoons produced during his tenure, right? I also like the rebranded 2003 Fridays block (probably just nostalgia on my part as I was born in 1996) which could maybe be attributed to him?

Funny enough, May 2005 was when Nickelodeon Studios closed and the last good Star wars movie (Revenge of the sith) came out. It was the end of an era.

It was cheaper to make than a real cartoon.

Am I the only one that liked Camp Lazlo and My Gym Partner is a Monkey? I enjoyed Camp Lazlo a lot and MGPiaM could be good depending on the episode. The only time I ever watched Squirrel Boy was when there was nothing else one. It was mediocre at best.
