Remember when TMNT had such a bleak ending that Nick had to make it non-canon and air it out of order?
Remember when TMNT had such a bleak ending that Nick had to make it non-canon and air it out of order?
Better than the 80's endin...oh right!
They didn't have one
Not just a bleak ending, a pants-on-head retarded Mad Max "homage."
Who the fuck says "you know where we should put a movie parody? Our very last eps"?
They should never have gotten that extra season. Shredder was dead. So hey brought Shredder back, and fought Satan, and then there was a monster crossover and this turd. The Usagi story was good, but not worth getting rid of Owari as the final ep. That was the perfect ending for the show.
This is litereally the only 2 episodes I've seen from that TMNT show. if you ask me, that's how TMNT is now.
Damn, sucks to be you.
I stopped giving a fuck after seeing too many steel robots being cut in two by swords. Guess I should finish the show someday.
Nah, I loved it. TMNT started out as a parody, it never should've been anything else.
>Implying Raph punching Hitler and Leo talking him into suicide wasn't awesome
Fuckyou.
Source on it not being the canon ending?
Depends on who you ask.
Viacom has firmly stated a few times in press releases and their twitter that this is an alternate future.
Show's showrunner has said it's not an alternate future.
So who do you go with, the guy that wrote the show, or the people that hired the guy to write the show? And just to muddy the waters, he was part of a staff of writers, not all of whom were on board with everything he did.
It wasn't bleak, it was grimderp. They turned Leo into a retard for fuck's sake, all to reference an 80s movie.
That coon looking thing though...
Looked kinda like a version of the After the Bomb setting from the old 80's TMNT roleplaying game.
If you paid attention to the cartoons the turtles were watching throughout the series it honestly wouldn't have surprised you how they ended it.
the show had a lot of underrated mutant girls user
Being them must be suffering.
You have no idea:
In short, She's Splinter's daughter, stolen and raised by Shredder, and taught that Splinter killed her mother. (Splinter's Wife)
THEM. Think about my post a little longer.......
Nah, It's Fine. Snakes love lizard dick. also they'd be siblings, if Splinter is right
Why does karai look so much uglier in the the actual cgi animation
They did it because Fury Road was popular
Seriously. The people talking about how it was "totally" a reference to some of the post-apoc TMNT stories drive me nuts. I've read those stories. It had nothing to do with those stories. Ciro just started fapping to Fury Road and wrote a "the turtles in Fury Road!" fanfic that unfortunately became the show's ending.
>people mad that the last episode was a Mad Max ripoff
The 2012 cartoon didn't have an original thought in its entire run. Everything was either a pop culture riff or based on an older iteration of the TMNT. I dare you to find something original that 2012 contributed to the mythos other than Tiger Claw.
Doing a parody of an 80s thing is a very classic TMNT thing though.
Don't get me wrong: Fury Road is fucking perfect but this episode didn't embody what made it perfect.
Somebody has the mega for this episode?
>I dare you to find something original that 2012 contributed to the mythos
Karai as Splinter's daughter.
Damn, that was a low-hanging fruit.
They did Actually.
>Show's showrunner has said it's not an alternate future.
Then it's canon
Didn't say I was surprised, TMNT always has bad ends
This. Needed more misogyny
That was a good episode. I consider it the canon ending.
Somewhere out there, the other turtles, april, honeycut, and Casey (the time clone ones) are having cool adventures in space too, so it isnt too bleak.
The last seasons made huge status quo changes, and Splinter said their training was complete in the last episode.
Those first two panels are a fucking work of art
I was expecting another movie where they travel back in time to help past Turtles to diffuse the mutagen bomb or something. Kinda disappointing they ended it like that.
>Then it's canon
Well he was one writer among many, and not the guy who created the series. And honestly it was a shitty "homage" ending thrown together in a fit of "Mad Max is cool!" fever after Fury Road. In a season that was entirely miniseries stuff tacked on after the episode that had clearly been intended as the final episode.
its the artstyle. they're all mutants.
Fuck off tranny Hitler did nothing wrong
Leo belongs with Usagi.
>tranny Hitler
Dogpound was a great mutant design and they should've never mutated him further.
Other than that, yeah the show is not very good in retrospect.
Dogpound was a garbage design. Chris Bradford was a great design, especially with his wannabe-Shredder armor, and they should've never mutated him.
Kill yourself nigger.
>The 2012 cartoon didn't have an original thought in its entire run
Another one of these 2k3 fags
And then Hitler started WWII after some time travellers appeared in his office and beat him up while yelling "You don't mess with Europe! Motherfucker!"
