Veganism is a very radical attitude against any and all animal-based products: meat, seafood, insects, eggs, dairy, leather, fur, wool, feathers... They don't all agree on honey and silk but fish is strictly off-limits.

In all seriousness, you don't have to stop eating meat entirely to make a difference, just cut down on it. People who are vegan for animal welfare reasons are naive but people who are vegan for environmental or health reasons can cheat as much as they feel comfortable with.

The look is one thing but honestly, I like veggie burgers more that don't try to imitate the taste of meat.

That's why I said regular people; they want people who would normally never eat a vegan burger to try the beyond meat burger, which they especially won't do if it doesn't look like a regular burger. They think if everyone tries to order the burger once and thinks "it's about the same, but I'll still order normal burgers in the future", at least the costs they put into developing the burger won't be put to waste.
