Don't worry you'll be seeing more of him
Ian Morales
he's not strong, he's weak, even Isabelle can beat his ass
Ryder Smith
Look at his eyes, he's legitimately happy.
Isaiah Perez
Holy shit these have been the best episodes in a long fucking while.
>Greg becoming a more complex character, who steven doesn't like anymore
>shattering jasper
But why did MEGASTEVEN shrink back down to normal again? And lose his facial hair?
Lincoln Sanchez
That's one Crazy Diamond.
Jonathan Howard
>I'm not crazy you imbeciles!
>I'm doing this for you!
>And I'll get punished for it
Matthew Williams
I want to see Crazy Steven destroy Kevin's bp tbqh
Cameron Anderson
oh fuck
Juan Lewis
>I miss something that was on tv an hour ago
great thread IDIOT
Andrew Ward
ok, weaker
Ethan Jones
His physical form is tied to his mental state. Hanging out with Jasper brought out the crazy murderous diamond in him
Everything in Future has been building up to Steven's transformation into pic related. From his pink powers to his sudden grown spurts, it's him slowly but surely growing into his diamond self.
Julian Carter
>greg is disgruntled by his parents and abandons them
>steven is disgruntled by greg for being disgruntled by his parents so he abandons him
great thinking, steven.
Daniel Morris
>SUF is based on Shine on You Crazy Diamond
FFFFUUUCK
Brody Perez
He went full Ringing Bell.
You never go full Ringing Bell.
Owen Martinez
"So Many Birthdays" showed that Steven is as old as he feels, literally. His physical growth was stunted because he felt like the little kid he thought he was, and he finally grew up because he thought that he had grew some after saving the universe.
Brody Richardson
Really starting to think Steven is just a monster.
Jacob Mitchell
>that face
>kek
it's so stupid and I love it
Christian Gonzalez
Fuck those other sheep
Hot
Asher Perez
He'll literally kill you. You are an ant to him.
Justin Foster
shit did the episodes already air? anybody have a mega?
Jeremiah Edwards
Charles Reyes

thanks

To be fair, his mom died in child birth and his dad dumped him off with the gems who didn't know how to raise him. That look at Greg's childhood was a look at everything Greg denied him be being a free-wheeling hippie. Its a part of growing up, realizing your parents didn't raise you how you would have liked to have been raised. You wish they had been stricter, or less strict, or taught you to eat better, or whatever it is you feel like you're missing in your life that better parenting could have solved.
Its not like he pulled with Greg what he did with his parents, which was another apparent "oh, they're dead to me." He denied Steven the chance to know his grandparents and the chance to get away from the shit show that is his life, even if for just a little bit.
Steven is rightfully pissed, and avoiding Greg for a while wouldn't be something uncalled for, especially the way he just downplayed Steven's anger. Steven was SUPER pissed when he found all that out, and Greg just kept spouting that unconditional support at a time when what Steven really needed was someone to push back.
Jacob Howard
You'll see Him soon OP
Jordan Brown
to be fair greg did send his parents letters, which they never opened.
they did save them, though, not sure what that says about them.
Benjamin Phillips
Jesus what the fuck did they do to Greg. I thought he was supposed to be the good parent of the show.
Kevin Turner
>steven kills someone
imagine showing this to someone someone during S1
Juan Butler
Nobody’s perfect
Nicholas Reyes
Like with everything in this show, and in life, everything is more complicated and nuanced than that.
Jaxon Jones
>>Greg becoming a more complex character, who steven doesn't like anymore
How in the hell is this a good thing? Greg didn’t need to be “complex” to be a good and likable character.
Ethan Lee
This isn’t nuance, it’s just character assassination in an attempt to look deep
Jason Nguyen
Greg is still the same person he always was. We just know why. We already knew a while back that Greg just up and left his family in Gem Harvest
Tyler Bennett
SU fans really are the new Rick and Morty fanbase
Michael Walker
Chirin did nothing wrong.
Kayden Smith
>Like with everything in this show
Expect the show is only nuanced and complicated when it wants to be. The rest is shallow and half cooked.
Benjamin Hughes
Hard to say since we don't know what their separation was like. In all likelihood there was something mutual there, a long standing feud that neither would concede ground over but not so terrible they would throw his letters away.
Greg's problem was he didn't realize Steven's feelings for him were as intense as HIS were for his own parents at the time he left home. The one thing that could have helped in that situation was an apology, and Greg couldn't even offer that. Just unapologetic "Sure glad you turned out this way. I refuse to admit any wrongdoing and will continue as I have, trying to be the cool dad with no regard for the damage it does to my son."
Hunter Hughes
Let’s be honest. If there where any powerful humans in the world of Steven Universe, such as Espers. Then there would definitely be a final showdown between crazy Steven and a powerful esper for the fate of the Earth
Xavier Green
Do you think Pink was this powerful/combat worthy or did it take human testosterone to unlock further potential?
John Martinez
I don't and I really don't like teen Steven.
He's absolutely insufferable.
Aiden Sanchez
>Steven is a textbook incel now
Carter Allen
Generally speaking, he is. He's not perfect, but he had the foresight to send Steven to live with the gems where his powers could manifest with people who knew what was going on, and he unconditionally accepts his son despite all the weird shit that involves. He does the best he can given the situation, which is more than you can say for some fathers, and he isn't otherwise a bumbling idiot as fathers are usually portrayed. This was simply a look at the other side of the coin, a glance at a bygone "what if" that is entirely irrelevant because that's not how life played out.
Owen Reyes
Yeah, we always knew Greg was a hippie that liked living in a van and letting his kid hang out with aliens who don't know know anything about humans. This is just adding reasoning
Brody Allen
I’ve been saying that since Future started.
Ayden Wood
The point is that it's made him less of a likable character, and that's fine. It would be dumb to have a character like him be a complete saint
Chase Ross
ask someone who has already seen the final episodes anything
Nathan Reyes
I dunno, it just feels weird considering how Greg was held up as one of the few good parents of animation. Even if he isn’t bumbling this still feels like a set back.
Juan Gray
I just wanna cuddle him better. And have him choke the life out of me before reviving me as his sex slave
Aiden Martinez
post feet
Christian Campbell
Does Steven leave for good?
Grayson Martinez
He still is. Him having flaws doesn't change that, if he was perfect that would only be a detriment in my opinion. Because nobody's perfect
Juan Turner
He isn’t a complete saint though and he was still entertaining as a character. We shouldn’t have to sacrifice likability
Isaac Wilson
prove or gtfo
Nicholas Wright
But he wasn’t perfect; the should made it clear he was a flawed person and still plenty likable. I don’t see how likability is a detriment.
Aaron Myers
You're pretending he isn't still likable for the sake of your argument. The fault here lies with both Steven AND Greg.
Camden Jackson
don't be that guy
technically
I mean you can confirm it when the episodes come out? you guys haven't really asked much so far though
Christopher Torres
He still loves and cares for Steven, he just can’t understand him. That’s like the biggest thing in the fucking show
Jack Brown
so what are spanish anons gonna call him?
William Butler
He really isn’t my likable though. He’s basically the parent who let’s his kid smoke pot because his parents were kind of strict to him as a kid.
You may find him likable but don’t be surprised when not everyone agrees.
Nicholas Moore
Okay fine.
>Does Steven shoot lasers
>Does Rose/Pink show up
>Does Steven end up with anyone
>Does Spinel show up
>Does Steven have the horns
Luke Flores
PArt of likability is that you think you know all of someone.
But being likable is context-sensitive. A free and chill spirit like Greg might be nice as a friend but clearly is putting a lot of stress on Steven as his son
Ayden Long
do we see spinel again?
Isaiah Baker
>technically
Be more specific.
Asher Gomez
You know, I never thought of that. That little boy really has grown in interesting ways.
Jeremiah Parker
Steven Cuarzo Terrón de Azúcar Diamante Rosa De Mayo Universe
Benjamin Reyes
He couldn’t understand his Gem side, it was his human side he fully understood. Now even that is being called into question.
>The fault here lies with both Steven AND Greg.
I’m kind of siding with Steven given what we know now.
Dylan Evans
It looks like a shit
Charles Kelly
>You’re dad is kind of a mess Steven
Huh, waddya know. She was right in the end
