It can't have been written that way though, he had to have decided that later on. I mean he was in charge, if he had wanted a platonic relationship, he could have altered or cut scenes.
Anyway, the work speaks for itself, regardless of the authors intent in this case.

I was hoping somebody would start another IT thread. The last one got archived, and there were only two responses, and one of them was mean, and called IT "Reddit bullshit" and accused OP of being a spammer.

I have noticed that people who start/contribute to IT threads are true fans of the show, and, for the most part, have something positive to contribute. Oh, sure, you have a few coomers who post crude thoughts about what they would like to do to either Tulip, or Lake, and you have a few pervs who's "Fan Art" actually belong in /aco/ but, ever since I've been shut in due to mandatory quarantine, I have been re-acquainting myself with Infinity Train, and always find something new in every episode every time I watch it. I can't wait for the third season to air.

For a long time Tulip was the one that still had more fanart than Jesse and Lake and although it seems that this is changing because sadly it seems that the art of IT in general is going down.
and about the coomers, it is curious how even they wants to do cute things between Lake and Jesse while most of the things they wanted to do to Tulip were fetishes (I mean, in my mind the main reason for doing that incest thing is because people wanted Tulip to have sex apart from those weird things in the carts)

Book 1 was good and 2 built on that to make it great. I'm really interested to see how they'll continue it since we've kind of seen a lot of the inner workings of the train at this point.

Well, personally I think Amelia created them to control the problems that perhaps the train notified her, I suppose that only a robot could take care of that without going crazy and she only thought of something that is said a lot in my country: dead dog, dead rabies(it means that if you kill someone you kill the problems that he causes)
