I'm barely seven minutes into this episode and it already feels like this is a scrapped ahsoka solo film or something. It feels way differently paced than anything else in the series and I'm not sure if it's because it was a scrapped solo film or because this is the first new arc theyve worked on in years.

Asian Han Solo doesn't seem to be any more interesting (I'd even say he seems less interesting because the street rat sister dynamic is missing). I think the main issue is just how passive ahsoka is in the version we got. In that clip she's being her usual sassy bitchy self but in the version we got she's... too polite.

I like that the arc explores the criminal underworld more and gives us more info about the Pykes and stuff, I just think the main dynamic between Ahsoka and the sisters was weak. Nyx could've carried this arc I bet, but they removed the strongest component.
