Let's get a good, old bitching thread going because I bet most of need to vent.
>The final showdown between villain and hero isnt a fair fight. >The villain effortlessly kicks the hero's ass until hero gets a power up. Then the hero effortlessly kicks the villain's ass
>Hero has love interest, if they get together there is a bunch of pointless drama.
Dylan Wright
I want tonfick Daisy
Grayson Morgan
>waiting for the next promising episode next week >it's just a recap/flashback episode >wait for the next episode next week >it's another fucking recap/flashback episode
>female friend of protag is supposed to be tsundere love interest >acts like such a giant fucking cunt, you genuinely start to wish they'd never get shipped together at the end
Tropes I love >the final showdown between villain and hero isn't a fair fight >the villain effortlessly kicks the hero's ass until, broken and battered, the hero finally gets that one lucky shot that opens up the villain's defenses, allowing them to be struck down
Henry Ward
>team of superheroes with all of them having the same qualities, but each of them having a different ability along with it >the toughest member doesn't have one >his toughness is his ability
I was always weirded out by this. What made Jinx so special over niggas like Eyeball or Mammoth?
Adam Turner
>season villain is about to beat the hero >hero remembers his friends / his friends show up >hero gets a fucking "friendship boost" >he beats the hero >rinse and repeat for next seasons
>fast guy is the jokester >strong guy is dumb >brainy dude is the sarcastic, sassy one >the girl is humorless and looks down on the guys, contributes nothing to the team
Gavin Gonzalez
>main character does something really unorthodox to the world he's into >immediately gets shunned by society and shat on
I hate the harem genre because 99.9% of the time the MC is such a wishy-washy piece of shit that they make Carlie Brown look decisive. Can't there be any series where, if the MC has a bunch of girls after him, he actually fucks any and all of them he likes? He doesn't need to fuck ALL of them, but he shouldn't come off as chemically castrated.
Tsundere does not mean what the terms implies. It's just a bitchy person who will sooner kick the MC in the balls than do anything remotely human. It is meant to be a term for CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT where someone goes from cold to affectionate. Now it just means abuse and mental disorder.
Anything set in a high school setting is boring tripe because it will almost always be some cocktease show that cannot commit to what it is going for because they had teenagers be the main characters and thus are legally blocked from doing anything with them. I've really come to hate teenage main characters in school settings. In fact, most child characters don't even act like children, they just act like mini-adults.
I despise plots that are based around contrived misunderstandings brought about by selective eavesdropping.
Adam Wilson
Doesn't OP mean cliché? You forgot to add girl is conventical attractive that does nothing.
Jace Martin
>Not a trope but I hate niggers
That's the reason I'm avoiding that horrible Kipo show. Don't give me that bullshit that girl is not purple she's blatantly a stand in for being black and the other main characters truly being black doesn't help. Just avoid that trash entirely.
Hudson Roberts
Lisa's punishment is to exist through the entire duration of The Simpsons, forever trapped in a show that should've died over a decade ago. Like being trapped in never ending pain while being unable to move or even beg for death.
Luis Robinson
>Redeemed villain isn’t in hiding but out in the open and everyone just is ok with them It’s ok if you redeem a SS officer but don’t tell everyone’s gonna be cool with them just walking around.
or they don't because >That's what ends a series, not the running out of writing that forced our hands with finally putting them together! Or badly handling it.
Cooper Bell
I just don't like the art.
Brayden Flores
>female Villain is allowed to walk away despite committing war crimes
Doesn't bother me much on it's own. What pisses me off is when they continue to act like ass-holes like they wouldn't be on thin ice, or when a case where you think of thin ice comes up in general and the writers are clearly oblivious to it.
Hunter Richardson
>next issue is a tie in to an event you don’t care about
Tsunderes Especially this bitch. Once again, Static shock was ahead of it's time.
What's your avoid the show for black characters ratio. Are you ok with them being side characters or does your media have to be fully white? How about latino characters?
On the plus side, In Space was the best jumping-off point for Power Rangers, anyway.
Blake Collins
that's loonatics unleashed in a nutshell
Zachary Evans
>Characters has old thing that's falling apart and not worth the trouble >All but one character complains how bad it is >Get new thing that's better than old thing >New thing is either to much or has a something annoying about it. >Old thing is suddenly better because memories >Get old thing back even if new thing cost a lot/they have to give something else up too.
Daniel Jenkins
>MTV's Downtown did it great They did everything great. Their only flaw was MTV
Jonathan Scott
>there's a secondary love-interest that the main character obviously won't end up with >they can be likable and interesting, but the show will proceed to treat them like shit and completely forget about them in the end purely because they weren't the one that the protagonist was always "destined" to be together with
>can't post animal anything on Yas Forums because the mods are pieces of shit, but they allow plenty of spams, low quality threads, or even off topic junk
This is the worst trope. And just in case, may you die a horrifying death.
Cooper Reyes
>implying irrational hatred can be magically wiped away You're a fucking moron. Seriously, look at what website you're on, and half the entries in this very thread. Fuck you.
Noah Phillips
>it's another cartoon tropes thread where people list anime tropes
the level of wishful thinking in this image is literally astounding. >getting caught in the rain during cross country run and huddling together under an abandoned bus stop jesus christ, whoever wrote that needs to come back to reality
Jaxon Wright
Are they cunt boys or do they have frankencocks?
Carson Sanchez
reality sucks though
Isaiah Scott
It's just an anime/hentai cliche because Japan is apparently littered with those abandoned comfy wooden bus stops. In the US they removed most of those along with telephone booths.
Brayden Jones
Only because you allow it to be
Ryder Hughes
lol no even the greeks knew reality is shit compared to fiction. That's the point of fiction bruvva, to make a world that's more interesting than the real one.
Connor Brown
>Spider-man is distrusted despite countless civilian rescues, villain takedowns and hero team-ups
Cameron Thomas
skater chicks arent tomboys. Nefcy is just mad at the tanned skater girls for being cooler than her.
Nolan Ortiz
"Hero, you must choose to save group A or group B!" "I choose... To save BOTH!" *everything goes fine*
Wyatt Walker
Retard. Tell that to starving kids.
Matthew Carter
When best girl is the villian, but protag gets with worse girl
James Peterson
Do you watch The Bachelor hoping the girls all fuck him at once? You're supposed to root for the girl you like in harem anime, not imagine you're the MC
Aiden Long
>Bachelor hoping the girls all fuck him at once? Honestly, it'd save everybody time.
William Gomez
Maaybe they should pull themselves up by their bootstraps instead of begging for gibs
Jackson Gray
kek
Thomas Sullivan
>unrepentant shitheel of a villain gets "redeemed" >their redemption amounts to nothing more than "oh yeah, I did a bad thing. but now I just want friends because I'd be happier!" >AT NO POINT do they even feel guilty for their past actions, or actively grow as characters who even so much as learn from their mistakes >they just get away with murder just because it would personally be more convenient for them now to join the winning side >(still act like dicks, btw. but now like, in a quirky kind of way that we're meant to take as 'endearing')
