I bet you never watched the show Susie is from.

The Oblongs? I even met Angus! With the sociopolitical climate of today I pray for a series renewal!

My chances of survival are better with the virus.
Then again, you only live once.

I will spend the whole year cuddling in bed with Susie in self quarantine.

For better or worse, I think anyone who likes cartoon sitcoms should watch The Oblongs, for a 2001 it was quite unique. Sure, there was South Park and Family Guy, even the Simpsons were gearing shifts, but Oblongs was certainly unique in taste. Something that feels more from the late 00's early 10's in a way. If there is a new series I hope Angus gets more creative direction.

Don't we all? She has a rare, rare charm...

When I was 7yrs old watching oblongs at 1 am I loved susie and didn't know why. 17 years later and I still don't know why.

Ah, but of course.

Same here, lad. I don't remember much details of when, how or where I first saw the series but when I grew up I found the book in a store and had all these crazy flashbacks, her accent stuck with me and I remember drawing her like crazy. Then I realized the Internet lobed her as much as I and here we all are.

I'd get Susie to spread the good news! youtube.com/watch?v=ziLbXt30hcs

Susie for me is like "The End" by The Doors. Goth without being a try hard edgy shit. "Life is misery, pain. Death is the end of that, I don't see death as something bad" said Jim Morrison. And Susie feels like that kind of gothic, aware of the pain and suffering but still alive, weird, strange an outcast, creepy. But that's what makes her unique, she's existential and lovely. It's this cute wee French girl with a bob-cut and a black dress talking about viper bats, drowning, setting things on fire and enjoying melting M&Ms in her mouth not in her hands.

Woo... That was a mouthful... But that's why I love Susie...

Why would anybody want to be quarantined with Creepy Susie? She'll just be sad and morbid the whole time to the point where you wished you were dead to spare yourself from her negativity.

She's barely even in the show.

Because I'm already a sad and morbid individual, but that doesn't make me negative, in fact, it's when I'm with people with that "bugger all" mindset where I find something to talk about. Like a flower blooming in a no man's land, or kids playing football near a destroyed tank.
You know how they say? Always look on the bright side of life? I was singing that and some neighbours joined in...

Which is something I like, I mean, I love Susie, but I don't know how a show revolved around her would work. Now she as a side character works better. Like Boba Fett!

Susie's simplistic design and her French accent with that deadpan tone is aesthetically more attractive than a truckload of other goth waifus. Also, it manages to grasp a form of realism I cannot explain. So yeah, most def quarantine with her...

>She'll just be sad and morbid the whole time
Actually, looking back on the show, she really wasn't that depressed. She had her moments sure, but she also had plenty of more "cheerful" moments and was more than capable of smiling. That's something I honestly really liked about her, she wasn't just the generic morbid goth girl.
Besides, knowing her she'd probably be quite happy during this pandemic.

Remember to resist coercion and take full advantage of everything that happens around you.

Would I?!

Yeah but she's pale girl with dark hair and a cute bob, which fills me with contentment and joy. A little whinging can't sour that for me.
Goths make me genki

Wasn't she allowed to have a little fun?

Attached: 58188929_p14.jpg (1024x1369, 216.77K)

And a pet clam!

Would Susie do an user?

If she did, she'd get sick and I'd help her spread the good news.

Suddenly I realized why I like the librarian from Hilda too. I must have a type.

C'mon user, she's still a woman.

>followed Angus on instagram a few days ago
It's true what they say. He does favorite and sometimes even comment on every Creepy Susie tagged post.

I've heard he's also kind of a pervert. Honestly wouldn't be surprised if he posts here.

Nice to know you two felt the same for her as a kid
I tend to bloom when I see those like minded in the land of obscure existence

Great taste, best type. I'd post another example if my desktop didn't die on me

Yep!
I have a type, and it's goth girls.

It's the Frenchness. It's cool on the outside, simple, yet deeply warm, and endearing.
The picture is the mechanism to a Model 1908 guillotine.

Imagine being in bed with and cuddling Susie and hearing her french whispers in your ear.

Would the librarian and susie get along?

Funny thing is, one of my neighbors is 90 something French lady who's really friendly and I've showed her a supercut of Susie and she loved her. She even does Susie's little dance singing like her and all. Oh, and the best thing is that she looked the same as her in the 1940s

Attached: susie_is_ready_for_halloween_by_gamerbot101_ddg3uy7-fullview.jpg (1600x2134, 186.08K)

That's so sweet

You know what you must do user.
Go back in time and make her your wife, or show us pics of her from the 1940s pls pls oh pretty pls.
Going to sleep now because of you.

Thanks mate! The world can be cruel, but not lonely!Best taste, indeed

Attached: 54208244_p55.jpg (600x762, 116.95K)

All these susie's make me wanna draw but I must sleep and have nightmares about my wife.

I dunno user, lewding Susie feels like lewding your own daughter... Possible but wrong

Attached: 58188929_p5.jpg (867x1024, 146.06K)

My intent was to say that we wouldn't have a chance with her, but I guess there's that angle

Okay Ken Levine, how's your latest project btw? I have a bioshock shaped hole in my schedule, one that prey fixed for a time, but now I need my fix man.

She's probably humoring you because she's worried your gonna kill her and cash her social security checks.

But assuming that's not the case, showing an old lady clips from the oblongs? Props to you I guess, I'd expect most wouldn't be too thrilled with it.

Funny thing is, she knows me because of my gran, a Marine during WW2 they sorta had a thing going... Never married but always being good friends of the family.
I thought she'd see Susie as some stupid stereotype but she loved her. As she said "bobcuts and bows for us were like the Green Beret of your gran" she's super.

Attached: 54206417_p7.png (480x655, 66.45K)

Gotta agree with this user. Sounds like some heavy autism. Cute though

>>implying she won't sing Trenet, Piaf or Chevalier for lullabies
Boooooum! Il chante "Love in Bloom!"
It always ends like that
Nah, she's always cool, as we share culture and stories. I get pretty well with old fellows

Attached: 59413876_p13.jpg (1024x835, 173K)

Oh, trust me, I don't know you, but getting along with young blokes here's hard as shit. Old blokes always have good advises, stories, they're educated and all... Man I miss my Gran...

I really only socialize with people I share hobbies with, so I don't run into older people. I can empathize with not fitting in with normalfags your own age, but I can't relate to old people at all.

can't complain about no gf or being a NEET to someone who's worried about the reaper being on their ass. or their divorce or whatever

>>someone who's worried about the reaper being on their ass. or their divorce or whatever

That's where you're wrong. Most of them lived through war and really awful shit. This French lady for example loves my sister's view towards death. As something more interesting than life. It's a real trip, and yeah, my sister's kinda neutral to death. She sees it as a blessing unless you're an innocent civilian (she's from a Serbian family and she lost some of her family in the civil war...) She's still a cheery person.

Those are both huge copes, otherwise they would've killed themselves wouldn't they?
Regardless, my thought was that being in different life stages makes relating difficult

ID2020

I watched the show and I read the book she's recycled from.
I personally think the redesign everyone draws of her is better because the actual on model one isn't very hot.

>tfw the way she handles being attracted to a boy is to murder them according to the book

Since I am a degenerate. Here is an album of the Creepy Susie art I commissioned.

Contains Beast, Futa, and Susie.

>be me
>laying in bed
>gorgeous occult qt next to me
>she leans over and starts softly rambling in French straight into my ear canal
>as I slowly drift off to sleep, I almost don’t her say:
>”I never really was on your side.”
>my eyes shoot open, I am immediately awake again
>but I’m too late, the keen blade of a balisong embeds itself in my spine before I can even think to scream
>as I bled out and darkness encroached upon my vision, I realised my girlfriend was and had always been an enthusiast of sharp suits and even sharper knives hailing from an indeterminate region of France
