Make Trigger Black and have them be an unlikely duo of Urban Hood Nigga and Rural Skinhead.
They would bond over their love of weapons, alcohol and hatred of the elite.
Also one of the heroes will probably say they're like a gay couple, which both of them will protest to.

Alright I like a good villain team and villains who in some way mirror or counter the heroes:

>Shift: Malleable physiology that changes based on thoughts and feelings
>Auto-da-fe: Converts a person's negative self-perceptions and feelings into anthropomorphized monsters
>Sanctity: Immortal magician futurist out to overthrow the scientific paradigm
>Nimby: Capable of teleporting anything within her field of vision to somewhere random outside her field of vision

Just give them the villains from Minoriteam like White Shadow and Racist Frankenstein.

Here's my crack at actually trying to squeeze some character development/themes

Screentime - The All Seeing Ones
>On a basic level, the All Seeing Ones are a not-Illuminati with fairly standard goals of manipulating the world governments and economies.
>Screentime is initially the one in charge of solving since who else to gather intelligence than a guy permanently jacked into the internet
>Unfortunately, the sheer overwhelming amount of conflicting information on the group, primarily from conspiracy theorist blogs and forums, takes up so much of Screentime's human processing power that he starts zoning out for hours at a time.
>Eventually, the sheer amount of contradictions and logical leaps needed to get anywhere causes him to become increasingly become detached from the real world as the reality in his head is so different from the reality in front of him.
>After locking himself away for days, the rest of the team have to forcibly sever his connection to the internet by putting a makeshift Faraday cage, ironically an actual tinfoil hat, on his head to pull him out, and forcing him to talk to them.
>The arc ends with the team discovering that the All Seeing Ones are actually group of Mark Zuckerberg-type tech tychoons who gained their power by creating an information empire and using the vast amount of data people willing put into their servers to manipulate world events and feed misinformation back into the world to create global panic. On top of that, the fact that there are so many conspiracy theories surrounding them means that they barely have to do anything to hide their activities since any actual crime they commit are drowned out by the tide of nonsense accusation brought up day and night. As a cherry on top, the All Seeing Ones have a god complex going on because they believe that by controlling how reality is perceived, they can control what reality is.
>The theme of this arc is the perceived world (the internet) vs the real world (reality)

Snowflake/Safe Space – Rerun
>In short, Rerun is a middle aged, male reality bender who can reshape the world around him. For him, that means turning the world around him into a Pleasantville knockoff, stereotypical 1950’s America – suburban, rows of identical houses, wives in the kitchen, no drugs, no sex, no rock n roll, no Asians, no Latinos, no Blacks, etc
>Arc begins with the twins waking up in Rerun’s pocket world and trying to find their friends.Snowflake and Safe Space were the only ones not effected was because Safe Space cast a protective bubbles over themselves.
>Eventually, the two force a confrontation against Rerun where they make it clear that won’t stop coming after him unless he’s willing to kill them.
>Rerun is visibly shaken and his reality starts to come undone.
>As the world all around them starts collapsing Rerun reverts back into a young boy on the ground
>Realizing that there is a very real possibility that everyone will die if Rerun doesn’t get control of his powers, the twins share their psychic link with Rerun to try to stabilize his mind. While in his head, they get glimpses of Rerun’s memories, his parents constant arguing as a child, the constant cycle of having to move and being picked on for being the new kid at school, constantly being scared of being surrounded by strangers who aren’t like him, etc.
>They then see a young Rerun watching not-Pleasantville on TV and wishing that he could live there forever.
>Now all the pieces fall into place and the twins realize that for Rerun, his rose-tinted idea of post-war, suburban life was his safe space and that he’s been literally projecting that safe space onto the world. This is also the reason why he isn’t willing to kill.
>Arc ends with the twins talking to kid Rerun that it’s OK to want to have a place where you can feel space but you can’t force it on other people. You have to built it with other people.
