most people played heroes straight through once, if they beat it at all, and hated team chaotix and never touched the side missions. they remember it for team sonic, and that's the only levels they come back to. so they start shadow and see effectively 2/3 of the game is team chaotix-like missions and they give up.

I'm not sure if I'm the right person to be asked with such question. After all, none of the animated films and cartoons under this franchise have really impressed and satisfied me.
For starters, I don't think there should be focus at how to make the cartoon itself, in what direction, and others. Rather, I believe there must be ambition at signing down contracts, diminishing the interference of the japanese branch as much as possible, and clearing out the copyright issues firstly. With theses actions, it will follow then into a new liberated wave of characters and elements you can transfer from Archie, Fleetway and similar to your cartoon, where they can breath a whole lot of breezes and refreshes and charm, presenting marvelous potentials and concepts to harness and explore (otherwise, I don't trust a Sonic cartoon theses days striving a lot in its quality with characters and plots and such, no matter how good its writers and animators will be).
Whilst I admit that I have got my own beloved, personal "Sonic" that I adore, the cartoon itself should be steady and firm, and go for whichever direction as it desires (assuming that it has competent writers and animators on the board), as long the aforementioned important requisites are fulfilled and done.
Alternatively, a Rotor-centric cartoon with influence brought from Dexter's Lab, Time Squad and Robot Jones where the protagonists are Rotor itself and his friend, soon-to-be boyfriend Gadget (the red wolf from Forces) could be a successfully-guaranteed marvelous show.
By the way, I see you also love the big toothy buddy! You're my great friend with a wonderful taste! But that said, unfortunately, I feel unable to masturbate at your particular crop since Rotor looks too young for my taste. But of course, still, it's quite nice to see such kind of crop, hoho.

Thanks for your opinion and thoughts about it. If you’ve seen the ova, is there anything that you dislike about it and why? I think it the best sonic related cartoon besides Satam, werehog short, and man of the year. I personally hope for a cartoon that can be called great for a sonic cartoon and standalone show. I just hope the next one doesn’t rely on cheap meta humor that has overstayed it’s welcome in this franchise.
I do like rotor, probably not as much as you since you are his biggest fan. I personally need to read the Archie comics from beginning to end to get an actual opinion instead of basing it off others. P.s I find find great humor in the file names for your images, and the images themselves

This sounds like something someone defending the treasure hunting levels in the Adventure games would say. But at least in those you only had to find 3 things, in a small open map, aided by radar.
In Shadow you're finding 40 enemies in a shit long linear map with no help. Usually one or two are placed in some obscure corner meaning you are looping through the level over and over to find them. Fuck anyone who defends that.
