Roxy had no problem when Dave got 'weird' and called her mom, in fact she found it cute and funny, I sincerely believe that whatever the possible outcome would have been, that wouldn't have bothered Roxy, she just wanted love. The same for Rose, who repeatedly hints in the comic that the idea of incestuous relationships seems somewhat funny to her, lol.

Relatively speaking it just started so who knows if it will find its legs. Most will say its bad but last update was genuinely good to most people. People aren't too optimistic based on some of the people behind the wheels, and the ramifications of some of those toblerone wish things if they are actually serious.

It's more meandering and pointless than it is explicitly bad. There's no "Jake shits himself in front of a live audience" moments, but it's a complete slog. Things just sort of happen without any real driving motivation for them to happen, and there's barely any overarching plot beyond alt-Calliope trying to stop Dirk from doing... something. Just re-read Problem Sleuth, it's a better investment of your time.

Imagine an anime where each episode is like filler, since the anime tries to tell you 6 different plots at the same time, and the anime decides to alternate from one plot to another in each episode, developing each plot extremely slowly to the points that have passed 5 months and we are still introducing characters, and to date none of the plots had go to a specific place.

I don't think it's as bad as people make it out to be. It's a continuation of the Epilogues, which Hussie wrote. There's some leeway for the nu-writers, but I think this is intentional. Calliope is in charge now. Sort of. Now that I think about it, it makes sense thematically for her, that unlike Caliborn who was very domineering when it came to the narrative, she is not entirely in control, because she's basically sharing it with Dirk. Another comparison of masculine and feminine traits, which HS fucking loves to do.
