I really don't understand why the creators of the show felt their was no market for a reality TV parody. Sure, the format it is parodying is not huge right now, but the fanbase for the show makes up enough of an audience that there has to be some interest. Also the show is now in the sweet nostalgia spot where the people growing up watching it are now coming of age.
