Bob's Burgers

Should I watch Brideshead Revisited? How important is it to the lore of Bob's Burgers?

Holy shit I want Linda to sit on my face

ah fuck he's a-comin'

When's the last time we had an episode rated TV-14? Is this an adult cartoon or not?

I see him on the horizon...

Will you idiots shut the fuck up and just actually TALK ABOUT THE SHOW??

>shut the fuck up
Okay.

>TALK
??

Yes, but only the Charles-Sebastian part. Drop it when you reach the Charles-Julia ship.

I have a question. Two, actually.
1. Do you like Bobs Burgers?
2. Did you grow up in New England?
I have a theory that your enjoyment of Bobs Burgers may, in part, be effected by how familiar the setting is to you.

>Do you like Bobs Burgers?
Yes. Very much so.

>Did you grow up in New England?
No, I did not. I grew up down in Texas. But I’d be lying if I said the comfy atmosphere of Seymour’s Bay, NJ wasn’t one of the major reasons why I stay loving this show.

1) Love it.
2) Didn't grow up in the Northeast, but I'm pretty much a restaurant lifer. That aspect of the show appeals to me. Also, it's got a sort of King of the Hill vibe, and I always dug that show, too.

1. It's not my all-time favorite but I enjoy it.
2. No, but I grew up in a little town that depended heavily on tourism for its economy so some things resonate with me.

So I’m last nights episode did they ever say what they did with the secret family BBQ spices recipe, because if Bob still has it I bet they would make amazing burgers

>TWO YEARS
You're too optimistic, user. Just give up and accept that the movie's cancelled.

Have they ever made any depictions of what the Belcher family would look like in real life, other than that one episode of Archer?

Only through dialogue.

Bob is hairy and out of shape, Linda's got big boobies, Louise is short, etc.

This seems the most realistic given what we know

man they all look depressed

1. no
2. Not in New England itself but fairly close (Northeast/Mid-Atlantic)

>Bob’s Burgers
>or any Fox show for that matter
>lore
Literally who the fuck cares? They’re just fun one-off episodes you can enjoy individually.

This captures their ugliness perfectly, except Louise is a little too fat

I hate this fucking show and it's not funny.

Not true. Family Guy has a layered overarching narrative about Peter’s insistence on gathering all kinds of crazy characters to set up jokes for him, but these actions have been implied to be a form of slavery since he never pays them in any way. I know it’s been 18 seasons already, but I’m still hoping the FG writers tackle this plot head-on and nail it like they did Brian’s death.

It actually would be pretty funny if the finale involved characters crossing over from cutaways into the real world.
Kinda like how South Park did 200 and 201

I don’t know. I haven’t seen last night’s episode yet.

You should go see it. ‘Twas fun.

Freakin’ epic

1. Yeah.
2. No, I did spend a lot of childhood summers in East coast seaside towns like that with family, but I don't think it had enough of an impact on me to play a factor in my enjoyment of the show. I live in AZ.

Good thing FOX is making shows for streaming now. Those are sure to be more serialized.

>Seymour’s Bay, NJ
That's where the Belchers live?

I fucking hate you guys...

Good

Uh, buddy, I think you might’ve accidentally mistaken the ‘W’ key for the ‘B’ key...

1. Yeah.
2. No, Michigan. But I hate both where I live and the setting of New England

Thank you for actually answering the question.

>King of the Hill vibe
this
Bob, like Hank, is at his core a likeable character despite his flaws. He's got his silly quirks but is the glue that holds his insane family together, and that's a comfy dynamic.

Imagine having this shit taste

>not wanting a cute Jewish MILF with big tits and wide hips
Methinks you’re the one with the shit taste, mate

The ep where they went to Florida showed them leaving from New Jersey.

Seymour's Bay is a reference to one of their editors, I think.

Yes, that is correct: youtube.com/watch?v=5zI82OxCpOw&t=246s

This makes me sad...

>1. Do you like Bobs Burgers?
yes i do, as someone who grew up wanting to be a chef, I somewhat enjoy vicariously living out my dream through a fictional character
>2. Did you grow up in New England?
nope

How would Bob honestly be a successful restaurateur

I think the Wiki keeps track of each episode's debut rating, but I couldn't be bothered to go look that up myself.

Whore out Linda and let any customer have a go at her for an additional charge. IIRC, she's canonically attractive in the series, no matter what Gayle might claim

Attached: A-boobity-boobity-boobity-boo!.gif (500x281, 718.68K)

>social media
Bob can take pictures of his burger of the day and upload it to a small social media account and maybe whatever decoration Linda puts up for the holidays
>full liquor bar
I know bob serves beer, but bob should really consider getting a full liquor bar. or at least some wine
>appetizers
honestly, bob could use some appetizers. cheap and a huge profit margin
>stop hiring his kids
they're a huge deterrent, even if he needs all the help he can get, his kids aren't worth the mess they create

I just like how in the show every person in their city is a weirdo. Bob's family, the main cast, the supporting characters, recurring characters, and one off characters all have their own weird things.

Those are all great ideas desu

The kids really do chase away a lot of his customers. Especially when you total up all the small things like how they only half ass wipe menus clean or pick up trash.

>full liquor bar
I can imagine, Linda always insisting on making her very own cocktails to serve to the customers
or Bob stealing Trev away from Jimmy for an episode

Gayle really fucked up when she passed on Dr. Yap

Bob and Linda are shown to be more than capable of handling the store all by themselves

I like that, too. It’s nice how Jimmy Jr. has a speech impediment just because.
