ok I started watching yesterday and finished today
I liked it alot but it is fucking aimless and you can see alex's dirty finger prints all over it, unlike amphibia the main cast of characters isn't tight and the side characters are boring as fuck, like no character is as interesting as Willy, putting Luz in the school is a bad move, I really wish more episodes were just Luz, Eda and King scamming people but oh well

Basically:

>Overwork and office drama deteriorated Luke's mental state
>Rumor began saying that he had a crush on Dana because he wouldn't speak to her
>Her smugly teasing him about it was the final straw that resulted in him having a mental breakdown
>Coming in early the following week to collect his belongings, he decides to cut out a drawing he did for Dana's birthday card, due to how poorly she treated him during his time working there
>Alex and Dana use the cut out as evidence that he's off his rockers, blacklisting him from DTVA and his Dungeon Crawlers series that was greenlight to be canned
>Luke angrily calls Alex up, yelled that he wants to kick his ass. Alex tells his industry friends that he threatened to kill him, word got around, causing him to be blacklisted from the industry as a whole
He goes into a bit more and talks about some of the other problems that's going on in the industry. Like how there's some people working who weren't hired based off of skill, but hired to fill diversity quotas.

The pacing is rushed, its not funny, the characters are underdeveloped and there's no pull.
I remember at the NYCC panel Dana mentioned how Luz can't go back to Earth which would've been interesting and added some sort of conflict, but that doesn't seem to be an actual thing within the show.
