None of them are wrong for feeling how they do. It is neglect in this world or theirs. And Stevens current state is evidence of this seven-fold.
You know why parents exist? So kids don't wake up one morning and get told having multiple skull fractures isn't ok. That having PTSD at 16 isn't normal. Steven did not have parents, so that is where he is at now.
