There’s no reason for a show lacking lore or an overarching narrative to be brushed aside as if we can’t talk about the writing, the art and animation style, the characters, the setting, our favorite jokes, the people making the show, the climate the show premiered in and how it’ll be treated by the network because of that, etc. Even silly inside jokes can be made in these threads.

“It’s just a funny little show” is a weak excuse for why a thread stays dead and has to survive off of necrobumps before dying after 30 replies every fucking week.

We've had 9 continuous weeks of new episodes so far, which is pretty good going for how most modern cartoon schedules tend to go.

The show is still quite new, man. Forging a fanbase takes time - like Bluey's that didn't take off until months of occasional pitiful attempts at trying to get people to watch it. I wouldn't recommend rushing things or you might end up attracting the wrong crowd. You wouldn't want Annie to end up like Hilda?
I recommend being patient. Maybe we'll get a particularly awesome episode that wins lots of anons over?

Have they? Airing new episodes on a consistent weekly basis is the bare minimum, man. Has Nick given it enough reruns so far? THAT’S the true test of whether or not they’ve been treating it well.

Whoa. I just found time to watch it and it's like a whole different show. Seeing an actual antagonist was not something I expected, for instance.
This is actually more to my liking and hopefully they have more eps like these (or perhaps a variety of ideas).

Nah, waifufags stay away from that show (apart from the Green Lady user). The threads last a while but tend to be slow. There was no discussion recently because Gisnep isn't showing any new episodes.
Overall, I like how these threads turn out. At least they don't turn into back-to-back clusterfuck generals. Wouldn't it be nice if IP threads remained comfy too?

I found this character rather annoying with what an emo git she comes off like, honestly. She is right about how much of a terrible character Cricket is, however.

Also, she's only become a less sucky character in S2... I would prefer more lewds of Nancy (Bill's former wife), really. I like her character so much fucking more.

Agreed. It helps the show to not be so repetitive and makes it more enjoyable than it has been so far, honestly.

Making Pony or Annie the butt of everything gets old fast and doesn't help the show stand out positively like it should.

I say these things because I want to enjoy this show more.

Months of hiatus then dropping a bunch of episodes all at once to finish it off because the show they haven't been airing is somehow not meeting their expectations.

I think part of it is that it is kind of middle of the road. At least with some of the others people can argue about "OMG ITS CALARTS SNEED!!!" or "WTF ITS JUST CLARENCE WITH NIGGERS!!!"

Also Pony doesn't really have a "big" waifu that attracts a bunch of fanart and autists. Big City Greens has Gloria, OKKO has Enid, Loud House has a small army of waifus.

But both of those points can be mixed blessings, if a thread is slower but doesn't have shitposters and waifufags, some people can prefer it.

Nick has been infamous for screwing over shows for not being smash hits right out the gate. Go to a Harvey Beaks or Welcome to the Wayne thread sometime and listen to them lament the fate of their shows.

Oh, Misha, a lot more goes on in Big City Greens and Craig of the Creek threads than just those reactionary shitposts you mentioned. Their threads generally stay pretty comfy and delve deep into many interesting topics about the show.

I just can’t help but wonder what it is about It’s Pony that makes it that much harder to get long-lasting threads like those other episodic shows.
