"The worst of messes become successes"?

With FOWL entering the fray, it could be "D-d-d-danger, watch behind you."
Julian Torres
Still seems a bit light on F.O.W.L. and heavy on minor villains. You'd think they'd flesh out what they already have, rather than adding to the already monstrous pile of characters, but... eh... what do I know.
I don't know honestly either, but it just seems so inconsequential to me Maybe I'm used to Caballeros where the plot went really quick and everything was serialized while I know Ducktales is episodic with some themes overlapping at times, but none of this seems to even really match up. Why are we starting what could be the episode that makes or breaks if this show gets renewed with a Huey vs Violet plot that has nothing to do with anything? Where is the FOWL stuff and where are those 50,000 cameos they are promising
>Violet and Huey episode I think it'll be fun seeing the two bond over a desire to be promoted. Will be real bummed if Lena's not there. >Quack Pack The duckcest lives on. >Double-O-Duck I dislike Dewey and Launchpad would've almost wanted Agent Donald. >Louie eps. Should be cool with best triplet. Seems like the par course of a few good episodes with main plot by the wayside.
Jaxon White
Lin Manuel Miranda just comes across as the sweetest, most likeable guy, by voice alone. It's uncanny. Even Will Smith needs to actually be on camera to do that.
>I think it'll be fun seeing the two bond over a desire to be promoted. Will be real bummed if Lena's not there. Still feeling a bit iffy about Violet. She felt a bit tagged on to her own introctionary episode to me. Maybe spinning her of to be a Woodchuck, more associated with Huey will be a good move.
you should definitely let them know so they can change it.
>I dislike Dewey and Launchpad would've almost wanted Agent Donald. user that would mean the DT cast would have to know duck comics outside the names of them and that Scrooge wears red Also make Donald cool at times which is a huge no no
Donald has already had cool scenes and we already have plenty of secret agents in the show.
Speaking as someone with half a wall of the European comics, stop pretending 90+ percent of them aren't forgettable as fuck.
Josiah Smith
Also, in the original Ducktales 1987 show, it was Launchpad who did secret-agent stuff against F.O.W.L, so that DT2017 episode is reminiscing about it. You won't get a DT2017 episode where Donald Duck is gonna be poorfag Batman-ersatz or a secret superspy. For starters, everyone in the show knows that Donald Duck is some helluva strong and highly competent one duck murder machine who doesn't need gadgets or secret identities to fuck up the villains. Also, other cast members already exist that can fulfill the role of masked superhero, like Fenton, Drake and Launchpad.
Ryder Cruz
I want him to actually get into a healthy, comitted relationship with someone (not Gyro). Hes such a sweet guy, he deserves someone to come home to at the end of the day. Falling that just an b-plot of him and Donald hanging out, maybe watching sports or something.
Speaking of Caballeros, they're confirmed for this batch.
Connor Morales
From Angones' Twitter regarding this batch of episodes:
UNDERWATER KINGDOMS! THE HALLS OF VALHALLA! THE MEAN STREETS OF TOKYOLK! ANCIENT SOCIETIES! HIGH SOCIETY! MERMAIDS AND CONSPIRACIES AND CABALLEROS AND LADY DUCKS AND SERPENTMEN AND SPIES AND GENIES AND STEELBEAKS AND WHOLE CHILDREN MADE OF METAL!!!!
Fun Facts About Each:
Challenge: Pulls tons of reference from Junior Woodchuck lore, including Camp Woodchuck at Tokyo Disneyland.
Quack Pack: Three huge guest stars, some not announced yet.
Double-O: Launchpad looks good in glasses.
Mervana: Della hates fish.
Eleven: Big returns both new and old.
AstroBOYD: Texted the pitch to @theironwrist [Matt Youngberg, showrunner] from the neighborhood of Tokyo that celebrates the work of Osamu Tezuka.
Ragnarok: The writers did (and are still doing) lots of field research for this.
Jason Gomez
>Maybe spinning her of to be a Woodchuck, more associated with Huey will be a good move. I don't like it. Violet being studious for her own sake in black magic was pretty cool. Throwing her into a JWC event feels forced like all smart people have to be part of this organization at childhood and nowhere else exists. A friendly one up contest would have been better with Vi and Hue going to their own methods to produce results a traditional versus magical type deal.
Let's see if they learned from the fan reaction how they should be handling this characters If we're lucky we'll get a House of Mouse situation where the first episode of them was fucking terrible but the later ones were better
Brandon Barnes
The Woodchuck episode sounds interesting

>Good, that confirms she's not a lesbian. Huh?
Easton Anderson
>Huey x Louie You should read Drugged Duck Do Not Wake on Ao3.
>All they have to do is get rid of those bushy eyebrows and I'd be okay with this
and the pants. I cant fap to this shit when they wear pants
Jaxon Russell
>that confirms she's not a lesbian. What about having three kids?
Jeremiah Evans
>you'll never pants Gosalyn at the schoolyard
Jose Williams
user clothes are hotter because it implies there's something down there
Landon Perry
You’d be surprised at how determined some people are with their “Della is a lesbian” headcanon. As though Della would have sought IVF in early/mid 30’s just so she could have kids.
Granted, I could see Frank trying to insist that in his attempts to make the show woke, admittedly, but it would be an incredibly stupid reason.
Sebastian Hall
And by “early/mid 30‘s,” I meant “early/mid 20’s.” She’s supposedly 36 now, but this show isn’t very good at keeping track of ages.
Joshua Walker
It doesn't help that one of the storyboard artists is a huge proponent of Della / Penumbra, too. But hopefully Disney considers her a "legacy character" and makes her immune to the usual poison. If they really want to be stunning and brave, they should break the stereotypes and make a straight tomboy for once. It's all becoming so predictable and tiresome.
Why would lesbian Della happen? Disney would never allow it and the staff can claim their woke points on tumblr by leaving her sexuality up in the air and having Della raising her kids by herself as a single mom.
Joshua Edwards
>As though Della would have sought IVF in early/mid 30’s just so she could have kids. Everyone knows Della seduced her brother to produce their bastard children.
Anthony Torres
but she didnt raise them donald did.
Samuel Cruz
Smart people want to belong to smart people organizations. Just be glad that she's not one of those icky chickadees.
Mason Baker
Violet would look hot in a uniform.
Carson Rodriguez
Why do you think they are introducing Daisy now? Donald will probably go with Daisy in the boat or somewhere else and leave the kids at the manor with Della. Ducktales doesn't take Donald as a parent seriously. Remember when the kids were listed as "Mcducks" in the credits?
Juan Thompson
I thought XD was dead year ago
Gavin Morales
Pretty much for the reason stated. There’s a storyboard artist on the show who really likes Della/Penumbra and the show would use it as an opportunity to have more “representation.”
There’s no good story reason for it. It’s not like the kids know or care about Penumbra all that much, let alone would they want her as a new mom. Besides, the alien plot in Season 2 was terrible, anyway. It would make much more sense for Penny to just go home and be the new Queen of Tranquility. Adding Penumbra to the Duck family would honestly be a slap to the face, especially since even Lena - an OC that the show spent a lot more time developing - couldn’t even get to stay at the manor in spite of begging Scrooge McDuck.
Tyler Robinson
Literally who cares about that staff member? Disney is not allowing gays in their show, let alone in the one featuring fucking Donald Duck.
Jason Nelson
I completely unironically think Drakepad is going to happen because Angones has been all over fujo Drakepad fanart.
Benjamin Brown

It’s also really endearing how much he seems to actually enjoy playing Fenton
Aiden Brown
>AstroBOYD: Texted the pitch to >@theironwrist [Matt Youngberg, showrunner] >from the neighborhood of Tokyo that celebrates the work of Osamu Tezuka. Oh shit is this the Fenton & Gyro Japan ep? How is Boyd involved?
Lucas Turner
Same. I wouldn’t want Gyro to be completely watered down but he does need to grow up a little to be worthy of Fenton though imo
Alexander Morris
He probably wants his bio-daddy Mark Beaks to also still love and acknowledge him, even if he's now programmed to love and adore the Drakes as his parents while taking care of Gummymama's fortune >gummymama
Juan Nguyen
Because the staff member literally tweeted about a “last minute story change” for “LGBT rep”
