Theoretically Castlevania could open the door for good video game adaptations but as is it is edgy retarded bullshit that barely understands the games. We should have changed generations after season two and somehow it is still limping along becoming less and less like the games as time goes on when it didn't even start all that well.
Also I am glad that I checked out before the scene where one of my childhood heroes got fucked in the ass by an original character and cried.

This sounds like a great idea in theory. Sort of a quiet adventure exploring Chozo ruins with very little dialogue outside of flashbacks to Samus' past with characters like Ridley and the chozo but then you have to remember that general audiences are fucking stupid and that we would damn near certainly end up with something more along the lines of Other M the animated series but with more swearing and sex.

Alucard had a baby with Sonia even if that was eventually retconned.
