Fuck yeah Drawn Together. In some ways I'm glad it ended when it did, in others I am immeasurably saddened.

It actually had a good point to make (Comedy doesn't need a moralistic ulterior purpose to be good, it just needs to be funny) but then it shot itself in the foot by using really juvenile, middle school tier shit as its exhibition for Funny. The show's wit is scarcely in evidence through the film.

Im the Same age and also watched as a kid when it aired. Of all the shows i shouldn't have been watching at the time( south park, wonder showzen ) this show made my mom angry that i watched it. She would come to my room on wednesday nights and turn off my tv if i was watching it. Which made me want to watch it even more . The episode with captain hero as Tim was Probly my favorite

My mother absolutely hated this show and I used to try to sneak watch it and South Park when I was 10.
I remember I recorded it to an old VHS tape that was labelled 'pokemon' and forgot about it.
A few days later my mum put on the tape for my 7 year old sister to watch, blissfully unaware of what it was.
Needless to say I was scolded and grounded after that.

Trey didn't get it cancelled, but it was very much a ""Spongebob Popular" situation. CC wasn't happy it wasn't bringing in the ratings South Park always did while (probably) also being more expensive to make. It's why so many CC cartoon gets axed after only 1-2 seasons.

Its just some comedians/media writers dont beat around the bush when it comes to fucked up news so when years later when the truth comes to light and the masses hear of it, they go " they predicted it!
